Couldn't agree more. I actually felt it needed to end at season five.

I would've been fine if it ended on 6. I liked 5. It's where it needed to go.

That is why I think it should have finished at five. Five had a great ending which felt like closure to me.

I could have done without the M. Night crap from last season. 6 had the ending 5 chickened out on, but you all know they couldn't just let it end like that.

Don't envy the writers though. They gotta top the 4th season by the time season 8 wraps. I hope they manage to do it.

Didn't say it would be easy, but knowing that the end is in sight will hopefully encourage them to go all out.

I would've agreed with that in the Season 1,2 and 4 area. But nowadays I would have to disagree with that statement. Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Breaking Bad....all superior shows in terms of writing caliber.

Yes, Dexter is still worth watching, but 98% is a little too high a number in my opinion.

In season 7 we find out season 6 was all a dream and it never happened, I'd be cool with that!

The only complaint I have against season 6 is it veered a bit too close to daytime TV in writing.

Unless they figure something out quick, there's noone else close enough to pull him into the ho-hum ordinary life facade role. Deb was the last bastion on that one.

I kinda have a feeling he's just going to unravel into a fully-fledged "bad" serial killer. He has been getting alot sloppier in his work and not following his "code" very closely since season 4...
