Dexter is caught by a bunch of Russian cannibals, and he sees how effective eating the evidence is.
That's him on the right tied to the tree. He escapes, and frees Yvonne Strahovski and they make it back to Maimi in one piece. That's when he decides to take up cannibalism.

well judging from the pictures at least Deb will be on Dexter's side, I was wondering how that was going to play but all those pics show that Deb is talking to Dexter and even hiding his secret, so that's good, that is something I was wondering about, I mean, sounds obvious she would be with Dexter, but is nice that is for sure

Can't help but think they compromised her character big time if she goes along with Dexter on this. September 30th can't get here fast enough!

Considering the flashbacks I am sure this seasons going to deal with Deb wrapping her head around reality and what she perceived as her reality.

well see in all the pictures flashing we see them together after she finds him, we see them talking and

seems like they burn the church to cover things up, while that is never Dexter's style, it makes me wonder what will Dexter tell her? will he tell her the truth, or make something up? i mean for them to burn the church, that would imply dexter told her something else? a lie?

Also, she let Dexter go that one time, not even knowing its him. If she compromises for a stranger... Dex and Harrison are the only family shes got, Dexter can just tell her the truth thats needed. "I kill criminals that you guys can't find or that get away"

wow I completely forgot about her doing that! good point!

I think...and it's just my humble opinion...that Deb will eventually turn Dexter in. She's always strived to be a good cop and seemed to want validation from her dad so badly that she never got, hence her relationship with Lundy (father figure)...if that makes sense.
I think her good cop mentality will get the better of her and she'll do it, regardless if it's her brother or not, she'll turn him in. That's JUST MY OPINION so please don't stone me.

Btw...did anyone here get a weird survey in February regarding Dexter and the characters past and present?

How would you describe the last scene of the last episode? PLEASE CHECK ONLY ONE.
Professor Geller reappears to taunt Travis
Travis is about to stab Dexter
Debra witnesses Dexter killing Travis
Travis is sneaking around Dexter's home
Masuka discovers new evidence

I see Deb protecting Dexter, but if they begin the hunt again for the Bay Harbour Butcher, I don't know how much she's willing to cover for him, particularly if any innocents get caught up in it.

I agree that she won't turn Dexter in straight away, she allowed Lumen and her vigilante killer to get away because she felt those men deserved what they got. I can see Dexter telling Deb that he was that vigilante and he's just trying to get justice for people.

Perhaps a trumped up outside plot contrivance (lightning? lol) takes care of that for them.

I hate those. Unless they really work for it!

Whatever happened to brilliant little arcs like when he spent a few episodes looking for the boxer's body? I'm just thankful there's no more Colin "check out my last name" Hanks. Sorry to all you fans out there, but he was straight up cardboard the whole time for me.

Yeah i agree . Colin is a horrible actor , nothing like his Daadaa

I like Geller more than Travis ,
And he was imaginary... LOL

He wasn't a believable villian to me , Trinity makes him look like a boy scout , sh*# he looked like one anyways :lol

Colin is good for the College guy role like Orange County, he was good in that, he is good for silly roles or young roles,

This Was WAY too big and important for him, I would have accepted Colin Hanks even as an intern or someone new to the department, something else maybe, Not the main villain, that was pathetic,

Yeah, the way they treated Olmos' character was pitiful. Predictable? Sure, but horribly pitiful. He deserved better!

Yeah, definitely. Hanks didn't earn his dramatic stripes until Philadelphia. Up until then, he had proven success with the funny everyman lead type. Colin hasn't really established himself as anything other than the straight guy type. I don't envy that poor guy though. Trying to differentiate from pops is hard when you sound just like him.

the worst thing is that, I think even his dad would have done a better job as the bad guy in season 6 :rotfl I know he would never do anything like that, but i bet if he did it wouldn't have been as bad :lol

You have apoint. Tom did have more gravitas in "The Road to Perdition".

and in things like the green Mile you can see he can act very serious,
if let's say Tom was the villain, it could have easily feel like trinity, nothing will ever top season 4, but i mean John Lithgow is known for his comedic side, but he can be very serious too,

I guess Deb has trouble sleeping this season? :lol
