That's the only reason I bothered watching Dexter. I knew him from that. Figured that was a decent show so I might as well check Dexter out (I was originally under the assumption that it was going to be from the same people that did Six Feet Under).

Michael C. Hall was brilliant when he was jumping around mocking Speltzer. ****! ****! :lol

As far as spoilers, this thread was created before we actually had the spoiler tag. That's why it was put in the title. So I think it's fine to discuss things that have happened, but not so much for things that haven't. Like noisetrigger said, be mindful.

I thought it was implied that Viktor and Isaak were lovers. Wasn't the picture of them together basically "hidden"?

I was talking to a co-worker the next day about the episode and she said that she didn't even pick up on that. I told her I figured it made perfect sense because he had no interest in looking at the strippers.

I had never even considered that Viktor could be son.

Also my impression.

It seems some people have a hard time accepting Ray Stevenson playing a gay man for some odd reason.

At first I thought they were lovers because the picture was hidden, but then I thought it might be his son. But if it was his son, why wouldn't the other mobsters know and understand why he's so intent on revenge? It's much more interesting if they were lovers.

Well I swore I wasn't going to read the opinions in this thread and I haven't. I just wanted to barge in and say I am loving this season so far. Imo its the best since season 4 ended.

Jennifer Carpenter has been brilliant so far. Her love and distrust for Dexter has been played perfectly. I am on the edge of my seat during their dialogue together. The elevator scene was hilarious today. She is really shining as an actress this year Imo. Her realizing the injustice of the justice system was great with Speltzer. You could see old Deb in the Batista role today and Deb pulling a Laguerta during Batista's questioning about the bartender's suicide.

Isaak is friggin awesome. I was kind of blah with him at first but he is shaping up to be an amazing villain. What a maniac to take out that bar. The smirk on his face when he realized Dexter set him up was priceless.

I was kind of disappointed with Louis only being a disgruntled nerd. I was hoping for some other back story with him. That was my only disappointment this season so far.

Will the bald Isaak servant ever have a line? Anyone else have a feeling Quinn is dead this season? Anyone cry when Dexter burned his blood slides?

wait a second.... okay... so you don't read anyone's opinions but you come here to post yours? lol :lol
also if you don't read anyone's opinions how come you ended your post with questions ? :rotfl

I agree about everything you said, Debra was really good today. she kinda was better than Dexter actually now all he does is kinda looks at her with this blank stare because he doesn't know what to say or something so Debra was the stronger one in those scenes.

Isaak is an awesome badass and I loved the smirk as well. :yess:

Last season was bad don't get me wrong. I also felt I would've enjoyed it maybe very little if it wasn't for this thread. I want to watch this season with an open mind and not be influenced by anyone else's opinion. That's all. You don't have to read my posts if you don't want to. I'm just giving my 2¢ for anyone who wants to read MY opinion of the season. Hence me "barging in". :wink1:

lol I was just joking with you, if you noticed after I said that I posted my real answer, :)
I really like Isaak he is such a hardcore badass, Dexter never went against someone like this and it was about time, I wish he came into play earlier in the seasons but maybe now since it is the end it will make things hard for Dexter, looks like all the doors are closing in for Dexter and he cannot escape this time.

I said the same about Louis, that was Such a WASTE of a character, I cannot believe they build up so much hype for nothing at all

Louis sucked. His death has already improved the show.

The hotel scene with Deb and Dex talking started to worry me. Too much psycho Deb last year getting horny for her bro.

Ray Stevenson is great but Isaac hasn't reached Pullo levels of badass yet.

Last night was really good. Isaak's character is really starting to take shape. The "Hello Handsome" line was great. I think if he was just your basic mob boss, the role would be boring. Being crazy, gay and a badass out for revenge makes him a very unique character to the show.

I also like the Hannah character, very interested to see where that goes. Hopefully, a nude scene
