Re: .

no, it's not. :slap

interesting episode. morgan found more than his match in isaak. not to mention the lie about the photographer who was one of his innocent victims ... the plot thickens, baby!

Was this the one where Dexter snuck out on the camping trip with Cody?

Not taking out Isaak is going to come back and hurt Dexter big time. Isaak is too smart and too dangerous to stay in play. Isaak already suspects theres something to Dexter from the face to face in the jail visiting room and something tells me he'll find a way out of jail soon enough.

I was bothered by the scene where Dex was talking to Isaac in jail. Both of them would know they are being monitored. They both admitted to things that would put them away for life.

I was a little bothered by Dexter taking notes for Bautista during his questioning. Dexter is the blood guy, I felt it was too convenient that Dexter was there to question her, but other than that part last nights episode was pretty good.

He was there because of the evidence in the room. He wasn't taking notes, he was cataloging the items (trophies) since before that moment the police didn't know who they belonged to.

I am enjoying Ray Stevenson as Isaak. This working out better that him facing another seriel killer. Isaak is a professional with a personal vendetta. This is the only storyline that I truly like this season. Deb is just getting on my nerves and Quinn is an idiot. Really do not care about the killer chick. I want to see more of Dexter and Isaak.

Deb should be on Dex's ass over the wedding photographer. She would know he's innocent. His code doesn't hold up in that case. She's trying to look the other way because most of these people are scum, but not this time.

then there is the hooligan in the rest room, the pedophile ... and, doakes, apparently (if lila hadn't conveniently stepped in, he would have killed him sooner or later after he had locked him up in the cage).

during his chit-chat with isaak, he didn't look too composed, as opposed to isaak.

Deb doesn't know about them. But Dex pointed right at a picture of the photog and owned up.

correct regarding the first part, but i was referring to his alleged honesty towards her and how he has a code that the strictly follows ... he didn't tell her that the photographer was innocent, or did i miss that? from what i gathered, he made it sound as if it was justified (which he knows it wasn't).

At the end of episode where he killed the photographer Batista hauls in the real killer. Dex says "what's up" and Angel tells him they've got the real killer - fingerprints, DNA, airtight. Then Dex goes in his lab and realized he fvcked up.

Deb would know the real killer was apprehended. Dex doesn't have to tell her.

They are not the same person.

Jonathan Farrow is the innocent victim from season 4. He was a model/fashion photographer.

Phillip Barnes was the wedding photographer in this episode.

Good post!!! I was wondering when someone will point out that it's two different photographer and it took pages of speculation before someone pointed it out.

And you call yourself Dexter Fans.... :nana:

I knew it because the guy in this season had a family while the fashion photographer was a playboy (they even show him with a topless girl in the club...)

and you guys call yourselves Dexter fans :lol

and yourselves call yourselves yourselves.

Pretty much the only thing that really bothers me about the series are those loose ends when Dexter killed outside of the code and they left it all so open.

I mean, for a guy that uses a code...heck, a ritual, doesn't it seem odd that he would do something so outside of said ritual and then just go back to the ritual?

I can supsend my belief on alot of the other slightly silly things or slightly unbelievable things but there really should be some kind of explaination or something as to how Dexter killed people that didn't fit the code. I mean, if he's allowed to break the code why even stick to it at all?

same here ... but i have a hunch that it begins unravelling now for him, as the code is basically just a convenient excuse, nothing more (and a means not to get caught, or so it seems).

i forgot peter weller's stan liddy ... what an awesome character.
my bad on the photographer, but regardless, everything still stands.

not only that but Dexter kills two gigantic figures in Miami (Miguel Prado/ Jordan Chase) and there is never anything said about them. they make you believe that Dexter will be in deep trouble for going after this big figures in their show and then next season comes in and it is like nothing happen. Dexter might even go against the pope and they wouldn't say anything about it in the show. That's what I didnt like I always thought that in season 4 there would be some problems because of Prado, at least a mention or an investigation or something. :slap

Louis sucked. His death has already improved the show.

The hotel scene with Deb and Dex talking started to worry me. Too much psycho Deb last year getting horny for her bro.

Ray Stevenson is great but Isaac hasn't reached Pullo levels of badass yet.

Louis' supreme confidence in the face of someone who could clearly snap his neck without a thought could never make sense unless there was alot more to him. He could have been interesting, but they ran out of room for characters this season. He ended up being an utter waste of time.

Even though this season is tighter than the previous two so far, some horribad writing decisions will continue to follow the series to its grave. If you were to tell me two seasons ago that A, Deb would develop sexual feelings for Dex and that B, she would override all her instincts as a cop to allow Dexter to mind**** her (didn't take much) into being an accomplice to murder, I would've have thought there was another Writer's Guild strike or something. All things considered, they're doing a good job of keeping things interesting. The best I can hope for is they kind of forget she was jonesing for him. That stupid motel scene isn't helping!

I did like how she called him out for taking out Viktor before he even had a chance to fall through the cracks. I also like the cat-mouse-cat game he's got going with Isaak. He really does seem to running out of ideas and control, and I get the distinct impression that Isaak is a little too much for Dex to handle.

I was bothered by the scene where Dex was talking to Isaac in jail. Both of them would know they are being monitored. They both admitted to things that would put them away for life.

Not only that, but the very fact that he is allowing himself to be seen talking directly with Isaak is incredibly sloppy and ensures that there will now always be a traceable link if he mysteriously vanishes as all big bads tend to do. How much better would it have been to have seen Lundy be the one to start suspecting Dexter? As great as season four was, it was the season of premature stage exits for me.
