There is no "code" when it comes to serial killers. That's one of the biggest things Dexter learned this season.
Like I said, you think the writers know that?

he's a serial killer and puts himself above the law. plus, he's a creep mother******r -- what more do you need? One of the big problems on the show is they just can't bring themselves to write a scene where you hate Dexter.
i'm sorry ... seriously, did you also read what you wrote? price was "a total piece of trash"? sez who? and even if he was, why should she leave a suspected killer alone? as to mckay's room mate ... i'm at a loss for words, really -- the mindset of some people here gives me the creeps, to say the least. She went after Hannah because she's Deb and because she can't let ANYTHING go. She had a bug up her *** for Hannah ever since Price was killed, who by the way was a total piece of trash. [...]
If she really loved Dexter should would have left Hannah alone. Now everything is messed up. [...]
Why not poison her old roomate? Let's be honest, that chick's kids would be better off some where else.
see above.I wish Deb had just stayed at the party, was nice to see Laguerta finally get hers, but wtf?
word. james was the highlight of the episode.Having Doakes back tonight really made it seem like the writers made a mistake killing him off so early in the series.
this.I think we should refer to our "Miami Killer" customs from now on as "Creep Mother******ers!" instead
turning a serial killer in would have been the only right thing to do, not joining him ...And because the ***** was pressuring her into turning on her brother.
i bet many were disappointed to see him written out of the show for this reason alone.First of all my main gripe is the storylines and new characters. Louis Greene was introduced in season 6 and I really thought he was going to be relative to Dexter or at least an adversary. Nope. He sleeps with hookers collects toys and gets shot in episode 3 or 4. OK.
she's in las vegas, but okay.Nadia leaves the country.
that's the core premise of a series / tv show: everything remains the same, more or less. There are some great characters here but they are completely and utterly wasted and none of the main characters are changed from the encounters with these people.
thank you very much for pointing that out!I'm really looking forward to payback time next year. The writers better pull no punches on Dexter. He's got to lose everything and be at peace with it. He betrayed the moral code that kept him from being the bad guy back in Season 5 really but it's reached critical mass now. LaGuerta might have been a manipulative *****, but she was actually killed for doing her job and for helping to clear Doakes' good name.
the morgans need to go down -- everything else would make me feel in retrospect as if i have wasted precious lifetime to watch until the (hopefully near) end.Dexter has just become incredibly unlikeable. By manning up and sacrificing himself, he might halfway redeem his emo navel gazing and allowing innocents to take the fall for his deeds.
of course there's a code: the code of repetition. There is no "code" when it comes to serial killers. That's one of the biggest things Dexter learned this season.
I wish they weren't introducing new characters to do what I think should be Angel's job next season.
According to Dexter facebook the 8th season will be returning June 30th at 9PM
Churn out quick buck, and throw it away forever. Great treatment.
