So - anyone else with Time Warner cable bummed they're going to miss Dexter for the foreseeable future? I'm changing to Directv but they aren't installing for 2 weeks.

I genuinely love the Dexter / Quinn dynamic.
I like that it seems like neither know where the respect / hate line is drawn, and both parties have a lot on both sides of the line.

well, That might be. But if they made the show not about regular every day people killing other people, but about gangs taking out other gangs...
Then there would be no problem with having a city full of murder. All they would need to do in the show to make it more realistic is make the murders gang related. then BOOM! problem solved.

This season might turn out to be pretty good. So far it had it's ups and downs but it's already better than the dreadful season 7.

I liked the last quarter of the show but overall it's a much weaker season than I was expecting, considering it's the last. Just seems like more of the same, really.
And anyone else finding the scenes with Harrison a bit off-putting? The kid actor is 7 whereas 'Harrison' is 4 and it really doesn't work. The old twins sucked, too, as all they could do was blankly stare into space but the kid trying to act younger than he is, is weird, too.
Yeah... kinda hoping it doesn't turn into a clichéd betrayal story (student becomes the master... *stifles yawn*) but we'll see.

This ****ing show. Holy ****.
So utterly terrible in every single possible way. Hate-Watching this show is getting really hard, and uninteresting.
The boobs were nice. I also love how dumb Dexter is. His inner monologue is literally everything he's doing.

No Life in the Void
The writing is pathetic on this show. There's no sense of momentum or finality about it, at all. Looking forward to seeing how it ends, out of respect for the first four seasons, and then will be glad it's done. What a contrast to Breaking Bad, where I'm at the edge of my seat and wish I could binge-watch the next seven episodes.
