I don't get how you don't get what i'm saying....

I'm not saying this is a man's show for men, i'm saying the show is the show, and changing it to cater to a fanbase it wasn't directed specific towards is wrong. Good for Showtime, because they made more money, but bad for everyone else, who has to put up with this unnecessary crap that was never a part of the show to begin with.

I know a lot of women who LOVE Breaking Bad. But that show doesn't cater specifically towards them. Nor does it cater specifically towards men either. The show is the show. You either take it, or leave it.

Imo both these shows just try and tell a story and don't cater to any demographic. I mean are women martians or something? :lol

They're telling a story that doesn't match up with the story they tried to tell since 2006. It's now a love story. Which is totally wrong for the tone of the show.

Just when I started to warm up to the young doofus he gets brain scooped. :lol

iunno.. guess I'm not a super fan like other people in here. I'm enjoying this season so far.

I think for me, I am just expecting much more from this season than what we've got so far. I'm hoping the pace picks up a little for the final few episodes since they seem to be coming the to the home stretch.

it is not the gender that matters, is the age and the style of life/ personality types.

This show is going to end up with a big romance plot, does that tell you anything?
It should have ended with Dexter on the run, and it is going to end with a big happy romantic ending....:dunno

I like Dexter. There were some moments a few seasons back that I felt were handled badly, but this season has been very enjoyable for me. If it ends with Dexter on a hoverboard carrying Hannah off into the sunset, I am actually O.K. with that.

Yeah, that's what this series needs, more senseless romance for a "good guy" serial killer who lost his moral "code" seasons ago.

Dexter needs to die at the hands of a real good guy like Angel. He's been understood too many times, time to die!:lecture

Show's not capable of that kind of writing, anymore, IMO. Personally, I don't buy the demographic argument being floated as to why the show's gone off the rails. It's just ****y writing, period. Every one of the last eight to ten (can't be bothered to check) episodes sucks and is totally forgettable. I think on almost any other show (that used to be good) the episodes would be building to a crescendo on the final season, but this one shares all the problems of the last three. A bunch of meandering, pointless storylines that are picked-up and dropped at random, with no larger significance. The writers must be very thankful that they were able to milk the series for 4 years.

I was kind of hoping they were going to use Zach for the Dexter Spin off show..... :monkey2:monkey2:monkey2

I Guess not.

I hate this season. Sooooo boring.

Wtf!!!! No stalking, no killing.

I am seriously pissed off about this season

I agree Mike. I keep wanting something to happen, but after the last episode I'm not sure what to expect.

Breaking Bad has had more cliffhangers and jaw dropping moments in two episodes for it's final season than Dexter has had in 8.
