One thing I would like to see this season is for Dexter to either kill Trinity or the reporter and then choose not to kill the other. He can then make sure Deborah captures the other and gets some closure on recent events. This will also show that Dexter has more control over his dark passenger than he believes he has.

That is a really good idea nice one Tyler. :rock

They both know (or will know) that Dexter was pretending to be someone else. It would be too dangerous for Dexter for either of them to live.

Deb is really on track these days..she's been like right behind dexter for once. It's going to be interesting to see who gets them first.

I know in the books Deb finds out about Dexter being a killer...I think with everything going on with how they view their father, maybe her finding out would bring them closer together.

so is it safe to say that quin's reporter girlfriend is the one who killed special agent grandpa?.... shes about matsuka's height and now we know shes trinity's daughter.

This week's episode was intense. Looks like we're in for an insanely awesome final two episodes. How is it that every year this show manages to reach a point late in the season where things get so crazy amazing that I almost can't watch what happens next week and at the same time I need to more than I ever needed to watch an episode of any other tv show ever? (does that make sense? :))

Yea, that was the conclusion we drew a few posts ago. But tonight's episode put the clincher on it.

Another great episode - Dexter is Batman - super detective protecting the innocent!

As long as it has a great ending, I agree. This is turning out to be the best season yet.

Great episode, but the preview for next week, "Hello Dexter Morgan" OH, MY, GOD! :horror When I saw that, it sent shivers down my spine.

Yep if they nail the ending it'll be the best for sure and very hard to beat with the next season.

Yep same here man.

The Trinity Killer is creepy again. There for a while the character seemed to be losing some of his edge, but the preview for next week has really put him back on the map.

Since Dexter saved that boy, Cody or Harrison could end up as one of his targets.

Oh yeah, Didn't the preview for next week show Dexter punching the dude next door?:lol

Just got caught up with Dexter, the last few epsiodes have been amazing!

The **** is really starting to hit the fan! Trinity's family, Christine being related to Trinity, Deb hot on her trail and Dex on Arthur's, this is getting intense!! :rock

Man, I hate these 12 Episode seasons!

It seems like this season has been a very slow build. Maybe it's because the past 3 seasons I've watched without breaks on DVD, but it seems like now they're starting to pay things off. We've spent so long with Kyle Butler and Arthur Mitchell building houses and all that crap and now we're finally dealing with Dexter vs. Trinity.

And I definitely noticed how Dexter seemed more superhero-ish this episode. The scene in which he had to make the choice to kill Trinity or save the boy. Dexter has morphed from a bad guy rationalizing his killings to an anti-hero who truly wants to do good.

I wonder how many kids Trinity has. . .

In the previews for next week there was a quick flash of a woman in a bloody tub and for an instant I thought it was Deb.

I'm betting the "Hello Dexter Morgan" is from the last episode. They have to deal with Arthur going around killing Kyle Butler's next week.

good question.

This episode ruled. I can't wait for the next two...there's so much going on. It'll be crazy to see how it all works out.

I'm finally starting to like Deb more than ever this season. She finally seems like shes getting her ???? together. I wonder who's going to pull a gun on her though...maybe that reporters mom or one of Harry's old girlfriends. This season not only are you getting worried for Dexter from another killer, but you also have his sister seemingly on the same trail he is on. I have no idea how this whole season will blow over with no consequences.

Dexter waiting down the hall in that one scene looks amazing. I can't wait for the Dexter/Arthur showdown. Looks like Arthur is moving into a less emotional more offensive way/ killing off his pattern. Going into Dexter's job is like rubbing it in his face. But I wonder if the boy will be able to describe Arthur to a sketch artist. Also, it looks like theres a footprint at the "kyle" murder.

It's been a while since Dexter has killed, it'll be nice to see him doing what he does best again. It looks like he punches out his neighbor and chokes out some truck driver.

Also, did anyone notice the use of the arcade games in the boy abduction scene. They put Arthur right in front of "primal rage" when he's staring at the boy. Then when he finally approaches the boy its "confidential mission." Don't know if that was on purpose but I thought it was kinda funny, seeing as Arthur has been more raw and emotional and how confidential mission sort of explains that whole situation of both those dudes sneaking around.

I kind of prefer this. Every other show has 24 or so episodes to fill up with fluff that can get the main story sidetracked, but working with only 12 means the writers need to make sure every piece of content on and off the screen fits perfectly into the journey they are taking us on.

I noticed Primal Rage, didn't make the connection though. Mostly I was thinking, "Jeez, what a crummy arcade, all those games are from the mid-90s". I did notice one of the real estate signs was from a company named 'D&A' = DNA, kinda funny. It seems too obvious to not be an easter egg, this show usually isn't known for that sort of thing, maybe there was a new director this ep, and he was a fan of symbolism.
