Dexter Discussion Thread *Spoilers*

I like the show but it has been running in place too long.

I'd like to see Dex get 'discovered' and see a final season that has no rules. Dexter the hunted. Perhaps a chase across country, I dunno. But something big and final.

I always thought this show would end with Dex in jail. An entire population of people deserving him. His last words to the audience would be "I'm free"

Knowing the MC Hall is negotiating a new contract means IF he renews the show probably goes for several more years. So a series finale is probably not coming any time soon.

I agree... it has to run its course. I would like to see a defining moment to end the series. Obviously, we don't know what this new season will bring us, but if a deal is reached for a few more seasons, the fear that the creativity and quality of the show will diminish, will increase.

Pretty much perfect timing on asking for more money since at the beginning of this weeks episode they were talking about how MCH pretty much runs the show and comes up with better stuff than the writers.

I was iffy at first about his role, but his acting was actually superb, top notch and dare I say, the best in the episode, along with his dialogue and delivery.

They are beatin' you over the head with religion and themes of faith, but Mos made it bearable, believable and a lil' more dynamic.

I've been a HUGE fan of Mos Def ever since I saw him in Something The Lord Made (which was fantastic).

The Quinn/Deb storyline got a little interesting; but let's face it, nobody saw that lasting

Really want to learn more about Hanks/Olmos, man is Olmos bat-**** crazy. And it looks like next week we get the introduction of a new serial killer, which is never a bad thing.

And I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY hope LaGuerta gets offed this season.

Anyone else notice Dexter has changed his M.O. and deviated away from his normal killing ritual (single knife stab through the heart)? Thought that was interesting.

Didn't he also just electrocute the two ambulance workers? I don't recall him stabbing them as well.

I am loving this new season. I am so curious to see WHY Travis and Professor Gellar are the way they are.

Anyone else notice they do some different camera and music work when Dexter's Dark Passenger is in control? Just feels like a total different mood to the scene when Dex is hunting, like when he is watching Brother Sam in the interview room.

That knife created for that scene is SICK.

That knife was used in Season 5 also, when Dexter goes after the sex offender under the Tuttle bridge. Dexter uses it to slice his pant leg open to find the parole ankle bracelet.

........ and for the hell of it, here's a pic of my 100% completed Kill Tools. The custom Kill Knife was made by DrewSmith over on theRPF forum. DrewSmith is suppose to be doing the Hook Knife also after he does a second run the the main Kill Knife.

THATS who she is. I was having the hardest time trying to find out where I knew her from.

She was in Halloween 2 and Heroes. Although this past episode was the hottest I've seen her. (Please don't sue).
