finished the beta run on the witch hunter and it was awesome. going to try the witch doctor next i think.

the monk is an absolute beast. he can bring crazy destruction and chain kills with his aoe punches, kicks, speed, heals, etc. i think he will prolly be the one i play once it goes live.

I have been playing beta for a few months, but just started playing it again because of WoW beta being so full recently. Now I really want to get the Overthrown exclusive... maybe someday this summer along with Tychus!

Ok. So how does the monk get in close for melee and take a pounding without heavy plate armor?

His armor is designed to allow flexible movement instead of armor everywhere. So if you place heavy armor on a monk it will looks less covered instead of fully covered when placing the same armor on like a barb. He'll get the same defense as well. In D3, the look of the armor changes according to class.

Every class should get the most armor on but different class benefit from different attributes. Wiz and Witch Doc benefit from intelligence; Monk and Demon Hunter benefit from dexterity; and Barb benefit from strength.

My last final is the day before the release of Diablo all i know is for the rest of that week I'm going to be sitting in front of my computer oblivious to the world around me. Just wish the PvP aspect of it was released with the game it was fun enough at blizzcon

yea Yeahh, PvP is gonna be badass this time around. No real rules except maybe no life potting. No mercy for these fools who set up stupid rules in D2. I'll take advantage of terrain, equipment, char, etc to win. Definitely will play all chars. They should definitely allow pking in games as well. Ear collecting trophies are for the novice.

I just hope they don't do ladder season again. Bored of it after awhile and of keeping old chars updated.

To anyone who's played D2:

Has anyone ever joined those games titled "Free sojs". Two people are in the game and the first thing they do is ask if they can look at your armor and weapons. Then they say let us kill you right outside the town in Act 1 (I let em' do it) Then they would say fill your inventory with these items we're giving you. Now go get your body and sojs will pop out and they follow you. ____ers. I'd just sell the items to a vendor and pick up my corpse and all my stuff goes back on. Then I ask what happened? Then I do the same thing 5 more times. eh. Damn scammers, stupid ones at that. Do they really think a level 87 lance barb dec'd out in amazing gear isn't going to know how the game works?

yeah, it's all dex/dodge based stuff. i played through the first act with all the clasess except the barbarian (was working on him when the open beta ended). the monk was probably my favorite though. he was pretty freaking awesome. can't wait to play it on release.

May 15th can't come any sooner! The beta was fun. People complained about spoiling the plot, but heck, this is Diablo! Plot is not as critical as just getting immersed in the actual gameplay!

True but I do hope they put a bit more emphasis on plot this time. Like they did with the amazing story in WarCraft III.
Plus has always had a nice background lore from the books in quests laying around like the countess who bathed in the blood of 100 virgins.
