I just watched Clippers review on this and boy is this one sharp looking figure. Most things about it are top notch. I really the dig Thompson w/the violin case and the outfit the best I think. Even the sculpt looks a lot like Depp with the sunglasses on. I don't think I'd be too hard on the likeness without the sunglasses considering it's an unlicensed item from one of the smaller companies. Even so, I don't think the likeness is all that bad to begin with anyway.

:goodpost: :exactly:

Wow! looks great! very classy being alone on that shelf. Deserves it doe. Dam, I've never been this eager to get a figure! This is def gnna be my grail!!!!

Thanks! :hi5:

He doesn't actually have a shelf to himself, he goes with my other Depp figures, but for taking the pic I thought he'd look better stood on his own.

You won't be disappointed by this figure, really is a great package.

debating on picking this guy up. Just a bit gutted about the hat issue, anyone found a way to make it sit lower?

I'd rather pose him without it cuz of the nicely sculpted hair. When I actually get the figure, I'll see what I could do cuz I love fedoras myself. I actually ordered the ACI Johnny ( bootleg Melvin Purvis), and it comes with a fedora so maybe I'll try that. Either way, the figure is still great, with or without the crap hat :rotfl

Well he arrived this morning. A rather nice figure in hand i definitely see depp in there more so with the shades on. The hat isn't ''bad'' per say but just doesn't look right when on it seems to sit too high even when pushed right down. I really do hate the gloves though wish they would have gone HT's way and sculpted gloves. I've used the dX10's gloved gun hand but for holding the cig i had to use the crappy fabric glove so i'll be grabbing some gloved hands soon. His right hip joint is loose as hell but his knee joint and ankles are still stiff so he stands ok.

Small things aside its a great figure especially for £108. I especially love the Thompson machine gun and how it assembles/disassembles. Im impressed with DiD as this is my first figure from them just wish they would include nameplate stands .

I'm not into the character per se, but I love how the figure turned out. Makes me impatient for their Michael Corleone, young Vito and Vincent figures! DiD is becoming quite good!

Have mine on order with Cotswald. Hopefully they will get theit allotment soon.

Sadly, this fine piece of art was delayed for an October release (stateside; Orig: SEP).

Do you know when in Oct.? And why was it delayed if it was already released in china?

It's not 'delayed'. It takes 4-6 weeks to ship it overseas. Boats don't travel very fast.

Showed up overseas late August, add 6 weeks, that's mid October. Should be arriving stateside in a few weeks.
