The first time I watched the movie was during the whole trilogy screening, I walked out of the theater disappointed with it. Went and watched it again and it changed my total outlook on the movie. I love it now and think it was a great ending, sad but great.

Bane's voice was great. Mocked the hell out of everyone he addressed. It took absolutely no one seriously.

No, I liked it but it wasn't a much against the other Nolan Bat flicks.

Better than expected.

I stayed out of the threads for the most part and I stayed away from the trailers (except for the ones at the movies) so I was pretty much in awe of the "concept".

I totally loved the whole Red Dawn meets Batman idea.

The problem people was making, and were disapointed majoratively, is that they expected a character to be better than Joker, which isnt possible. Joker is the ultimate villain to Batman.

Bane is deffinitely the best physical challenge to Batman and has beaten him. But the characterisation, the story, to clashing of the two ideals and minds was never there with Bane. Bane has an honorary code as seen in Veritas Liberat, Bane will work with Batman be it in AC as a double cross, or in VL where they two try to find Banes biological father, and Batman/Bruce funds banes journeys for every penny he needs.

Bane has an honorary code. He isnt out there just to cause chaos. Batmans death wont result in Banes death like it would Jokers in honesty. Joker is the pure opposite of Batman, and is the pure encasement of what Batman resents and vows to stop and give his life to stop it.

I loved TDKR, it surpassed what I thought it would be like and thoroughly enjoyed it and it is equal with TDK for me. Why? Because both films are superb; Both films test Batman in the 2 ultimate ways, and one literally breaks him physically, the other breaks his heart and mind.

I cant seperate the two because I love both equal for what they show; Batman at and above the limit of what he can take.

I left underwhelmed and disappointed upon first viewing. As Deckard voiced elsewhere, I didn't like the direction they took Bruce. I hated the 8 year gap and I hated his retirement. In addition to that, I felt the pacing was poor and Batman was hardly in the movie. There were also so many references to the past two installments that it came off as fanfiction or a movie made by a completely different production crew hoping to recapture the magic of the original. I was afraid I would end up hating it.

Then I saw it a second time and loved it. I just had a different idea of what this would be, especially after the grittiness/seriousness of TDK. This one was much more like a comic book movie. For that reason, I think I will end up liking this one more than TDK. More or as much as BB? We shall see. Can't wait to see it in IMAX this weekend! Haven't seen it on the big big screen yet!
