The last one was a good action film, and I do still enjoy it but I wouldn't have said it was a Die Hard. And whilst I don't expect DH5 to be amazing, I still think it may turn out to be a good watch.

After all this new one is the first sequel in the franchise to be originally written as a Die Hard sequel. All others were written first as standard action films (or a possible Lethal Weapon in DH3's case) and then eventually found themselves under the Die Hard name.

Just seemed a bit over the top to be a Die Hard in my opinion. I still call it Die Hard, I'm not of those people who call it "Die Hard in name only" instead of it's proper title. It is a Die Hard film at the end of the day. Though if no-one had said that Willis was playing McClane I just wouldn't have said to myself "Oh this a Die Hard".

But hey, I wasn't even alive when the first two Die Hard's were released so I'm a young mind on the matter.

LFODH was a **** movie and an even worse Die Hard. Kevin Smith, the Apple kid, John fighting an F-35. John VS computers and he doesn't like them, oh comic gold. Absolute garbage.

This one already looks better but they still did away with the Indiana Jones, bumbling through, lucky vibe and made him straight up Superman. His kids literally a secret agent and he didn't even know, hur hur.

DH1 is one of the best action films ever, the sequels have alot to live upto and DH4 wasn't even upto snuff with generic modern day crap fests and cgi explosions.

Pretty much. Personally I hate the whole secret agent son thing before I've even seen it.

Why does the entire McClane family have to be ''badass''??!

On a absolutely horrible note, Fox have made cuts to the UK release in order for it to obtain a 12A rating by the BBFC. They "wanted adults and teenagers to be able to enjoy, much like TDKR and Skyfall". **** you Fox.
