Yeah, I love DH 2. Not that I don't dig part 1.

Movie vs Movie they're really about the same. I just really dig the whole airport, air plane, military (not being good guys), etc. stuff more.

Yeah, I like 2 alot as well but Dennis Franz was way over the top stupid as the head of airport security.

Aliens. They finally killed the Alien franchise with that game they dumped out the other day

I had such high hopes for that game LOL, when i was at New York Comic Con they had an awesome set up and made it seem like it was a tour de force, still havent played it tho hopefully its okay.

Yep. I don't understand how some are so let down by movies like this. You mean to tell me that the FIFTH Die Hard movie isn't nearly as good as the original(s)? :lol

Well when i heard it got flopped by critics universally i was like.. What do they want!?

They probably wanted a movie. Not 2 acts and roll credits.

Here, i'm going to mildy spoil(no big plot points given away) the entire movie in one short paragraph.

John goes to the airport to get his son, after a giant explosion and escape, he finally meets up with him. Turns out he's CIA. **** goes wrong, they escape trying to find a key to a file. They meet the bad guy, escape. Hang out. Grab a car. Go to Cherynoble. Shoot some people. Kill the bad guys. And the end.

Ellis is the quintessential yuppie 80's ****** bag coke head. I can imagine he and Pat Bateman hanging out in a bathroom stall.

Doesn't the General say that? :lol

No,the Colonels aid says "F off pinko Beeotch" and puts his hand over the camera as they get into the elevator.

McClane says almost the same thing then the reporter says that's whats the Colonel said. Tipping off John he's in the airport.

It seems like I can never escape Batman: The Animated Series. The one day that I don't watch any episodes, I happen to turn my head as Lorenzo introduces his brother, Vito, and I recognize that voice anywhere; the cop who wrote John McClane a ticket in Die Hard 2 is Harvey Bullock (Robert Costanzo).:lecture

So, what's the sequel going to be called? "A good day to live free or die harder than when I died hard with a vengeance," or, perhaps, "This time I really die hard (of cancer from all of that Radiation I was exposed to in Chernobyl)"?

I'm sad to say that you were right with your feelings toward this one, but, like I said, I just hope they can get one more installment with a good director and a good script to give John McClane the finale he deserves.
