anyone have a list of upcomming digital copy movies? or is there a thread.

I have an extra code for LOTR Extended Edition Digital Copys for all three films. Looking to trade. It came with my bluray.

an easy tip is to search amazon.com for just Digital Copy it might give an good idea of whats coming.
My self I´m starting to shy away from buying editions with digital copys from the since I can´t use em since I live across the ocean.
For idiotic reasons they´re region specific.

the worst thing about the digital copies is that there is a expiry date on them, even though you buy the movie in the 1st place.

and a lot of computer don't come with optical discs anymore. DRM is such a sham. It failed with music and it's going to fail with movies.

I also hate the expiration codes on the extras. I've only used a couple of them, and that was because I was putting movies on my phone for watching between classes while I was in school. Now, I just rip my Blu Rays onto my Stora so I can watch them.

yeah I imported Lincoln Lawyer, and when I went to redeem the DC code on itunes, it says its region specific. Thats the first time its happend to me. Its still better buying from Amazon than it is locally. Domestically theres some titles that didnt get DC codes here such as: Let Me In, Limitless, Lincoln Lawyer but they were available in the states. On amazon it only cost $17.99 for LL here its $29.99 and no DC!

I started redeeming all my codes, 5-10 were already expired. its worth well to redeem especially when you are travelling and have an ipod or iphone to watch them on.

Hope Thor, X-Men, and Jurassic Park trilogy are not region specific because the prices are a lot cheaper on amazon than Futureshop.

I agree. I do the same thing. I redeem all of mine, regardless. They're always great for road trips and I figure if I have them, may as well use them.
