Buzz and Woody FTW........even though I don't buy premium format.
While we can't reveal any more information at this time, we promise to let our collector base know which characters they can expect as soon as the details are finalized.
Frankly I don't know alot of people who'd think a 1/4 Tinkerbell would fit in with there collection of Terminator statues and melty face Toht figures.
Disney does own Pixar but I have a feeling that this will include mainly human characters and not animated ones so I have my doubts that we'll get too many if any animated pieces. Rocketeer, Tron, D!ck Tracy, Davy Crockett, Captain Nemo from 20,000 Leagues, Zorro, Mary Poppins, Return to Oz, Three Musketeers which had Charlie Sheen and Kiefer Sutherland, Huck Finn, Hocus Pocus, Inspector Gadget, National Treasure even Popeye with Robin Williams and Dragonslayer with Dennis Quaid were Disney Live Actions and that is not including any of the POTC or Narnia which is actually Walden Media or the human animated characters like Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Prince Charming which have often been included in lines that were going live actions or even if they decide to use the human faces they have some of the characters in the Year of a Million Dreams celebration where Rachel Weisz was Snow White:
Julie Andrews as the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio, Roger Federer as King Arthur, David Beckham as Prince Phillip, Scarlett Johansson as Cinderella which is completely possible they have quite a bit to go before even having to tap the animated market.
This line will probably include one or two pieces from a particular license most likely ones that are visually impressive and then they'll move on so who know what will be included.
If I'm going to buy any Princesses (and I'm a big enough sucker for Disney that I just might), I would rather them have their animated faces than celebrity faces.
