I'm really excited to see the variety that Sideshow and Disney has in store for us. And while we're listing some of our PF "wants," I'd like to see a Jim Hawkins with a Solar Surfer as the base. Call me crazy, but visually that was one of Disney's best animated films to date.

This opens up so many possibilities that it's not even funny.

This could be another one of those benchmark licenses (like Lord of the Rings and then Star Wars) that take the company to a new level of popularity and success--both commercial and artistic.

There are lots of Disney fans out there who will be sending some good money in Sideshow's direction.

I doubt it would be that much. Captain Jack will be a banner piece in the line, I can easily see it going for $400 thou.

If the "Cave of Wonders" mini diorama is $225 then Jack is at LEAST $500. Of course I'd still probably get it.

Just a Pirates line could go on for years. Same is true of Pixar. Sideshow could do nothing but Disney pieces for a few decades and there would still be plenty of characters left to do.

I think we'll get 1 announement before SDCC (Beast, Jessica Rabbit, or Malifecent), and then I expect Captain Jack to be the BIG announcement AT SDCC.

O' I so hope your right, not about Captain Jack but the other three. I'd want all of those so it wouldn't matter if they started with the Beast, Jessica or Malifecent, just as long as its one of them shipping before the end of the year.
