Do you visit the room your collectibles are in often ?

Not seeing them is kind of taking the enjoyment out of it for me. The only way to enjoy this stuff is either on here or by looking at them right ?. It seems I buy a figure/statue and then never see it again. :lol

Not seeing them 24/7 is probably good for me. If I saw them all the time I'd probably get sick of them but this way if I have to go down stairs to see them every few days then I appreciate them more (at least thats what I am trying to convince myself.) :)

thats a better way of looking at it I suppose. I get sick of the hobby sometimes too without looking at them so your probably right.

Mine are in the bedroom, so I see them several times a day. I'm debating where to put them when I move. I'm trying to decide between the living room, or the library.

I'm in a 1 bed flat and have stuff in all rooms except the barthroom so yeah, I see them all the time. Those that are displayed that is :lol
x :peace

Since we moved into the new house, the computer is in the gf's office, while my "office", while it has a nice big desk, doesn't have a computer in it. Back in the apartment, they were one and the same, so I would see my stuff quite often, every day usually. Now, not so much.

Eventually I'd like to get a house with a "man cave" den/basement where I can have a nice all my collectibles in custom shelves, plus a nice TV/sound system to play games in. Probably when we get posted out in 2-3 years - I can be patient!

I set up a detolf in my dorm... so pretty often yes.

I realized it's going to be a _____ when I try to move it out of there...

From experience... yes, yes it will be. Just be very careful.

I never had one in a dorm (I'm SURE it would have gotten smashed in some drunken revelry had I!), but I did have to move two of them recently when I bought a house. Actually, moving any number of shelves/collectibles is a pain.

The crappy thing is, I'm going to have to deal with moving for a while yet, since I'm in the military and getting posted here and there is a fact of life. Oh well...

Moving all my junk is definitely the thing I am dreading about moving. Thank goodness it isn't far.

They're in my bedroom so yeah. :) Do plan on moving into a bigger place where I can space them out more.

Mine are in my second bedroom, I have a two bedroom house all to myself. So one I sleep in, and the other one my collectibles sleep in. :)

Mine are in my bedroom with my computer rig, so I look at them all the time. As far as a woman goes, mine disliked them so much she left me. There were other reasons too, of course... but no special lady of mine can speak ill of my life size Hellboy bust.

I envy all you fellas with happy, supportive wives and girlfriends who are okay with this stuff, because I've had nothing but problems with that.

mine our in my bedroom too, unfortunately the only female face that stares at me when i wake up is a 1/6 scully :monkey2

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

Nothing wrong with that!

Yea that really does suck. I am glad my woman is completely cool with my collection and some pieces she likes. She even bought the Spike PF herself! :horror
