Do you visit the room your collectibles are in often ?

I could have done that myself. There is no lie in your manipulation.

After all, it relieves stress and anger...

btw I AM GETTING A SSR FIG! BRING ON RED!!!

Damn right! I need a fig of the man who knows how to get things. If you ever find a contact e-mail of that company we should send them a request. I would imagine they'd make it eventually ............... well based on how well Andy sells.

Yes, all of the time!!!

No, I don't and that's good because I don't get bored of watching them. I built a collectibles room in the garage with two large displays and approximately every 2 days I go in there to look and/or play with them. Sometimes I even forget I have some of the stuff and it's a nice surprise to rediscover them.
However, If I'm too excited from a new figure I just purchased, it stays in the house for about 1-2 weeks on top of the chimney shelf to be admired, posed or whatever. Then it goes to the collectibles room. If there is no new figure, I usually bring one or two of the "old ones" back into the house to pose on the chimney. (By the way, we never light up the chimney, so no, my figures don't stink to smoke.)

I envy all you fellas with happy, supportive wives and girlfriends who are okay with this stuff, because I've had nothing but problems with that.

My wife HATES my collection. It's the basis of arguments all the time. She goes in phases, sometimes she's cool with it and let me put 3 Detolfs in the bedroom and other times she can't stand looking at it and hates when I buy things. You can never win...

It's piece by piece basis for me, my wife adores things like the Blackbeard PF and Greedo 1:1 bust (of all things :dunno); but she would love to throw my PZ PF away if she had the chance. :sick

I was laughing to myself before , I barely ever see my collectibles. There in the room I sleep in but I'm never in there and by the time I am its to dark to see anything anyway. I need to start visiting the room more often with these things costing so much. :rotfl

Exactly one of many reasons why so many people quit collecting.

I do something similar. Like I mentioned earlier, I have mine in my office in a cabinet. But when I first get a figure, he gets to spend some time with me in the den! For the first couple of days I go through the futzing and posing stage with them while I'm watching TV. Then he gets relegated to the shelf with his buddies. My wife thinks this is hilarious and loves to bust my balls about it! "Ooh, is Indy going to watch TV with us tonight?" She LOOOVES telling the rest of the family about it! :monkey4

I do that a lot too... I play with (I mean pose) my figures and open them in the living room; and they often stay for a few days as I ponder the figure.

Then when I remember, or the wife "gently reminds" me I take them back to their permanent home in the collection.
