I too went 7.5/10 but that's slowly mutating into a 7/10 the more I mentally revisit it.

I had a tripping accident at work on Thursday and now have 4 stitches across a 1-2 inch split between my lower lip and chin and internal stitches.. not to mention a black eye.. both from going face first into an agricultural feeder system.

Think I know which one sounds better right now..

I won't go lower than 7.5, but I don't see myself giving it an 8 either. Still, the fact that this film not only introduces magic, the multiverse, and perhaps more importantly, the existence of the living tribunal is pretty ambitious and pretty cool to see on film and part of the MCU. There was even a reference to Galactus, so I'm curious to see if that means anything since Disney doesn't have the rights supposedly.

Wow -- so all the positive hype was a lie? The movie sucks? Who'd have thought that about a Marvel movie in November?

What are you talking about? This movie ****ing rocks, it's one of marvels best. This is tier one quality, can't wait to see it again.

Just got done watching online, very very cool. I thought it would be bit longer. I missed the end xtra's not on my copy i watched. Cumberbatch was perfect Doctor imo cant wait for next chapter.

Watched this last night.

Only thing I wish they did was clear up how long his training period was. It could've been as simple as one line from Christine asking "where have you been for the last x months/years?" When asked how be became a doctor, his reply was "study and practice, years of it." Which prompted a "yeah, pretty much" look on The Ancient One's face. So it just would've been nice to see that either: A) yes, sorcerer training did in fact take Dr. Strange years of "study and practice" or B) he was born to become a Sorcerer Supreme and gained knowledge very quickly.

All in all, I really enjoyed it. Not enough to spend money on it again in theaters, but enough to where I'm excited to get a copy once it's released. Also looking forward to seeing Mordo as a villain. I see great potential there.

Saw it with 3d Imax Today, way better than the 2d showing I saw on Thursday. Some scenes stood out, only problem was the intense amount of ghosting from my glasses, but you can tell the technology is there with digital glasses.

Guess it depends on your financial circumstances. 3D is worth it on the big screen. Mr. Green wouldn't want to spend it on 3D disk for home.

I'll never get over how stupid that scene is in Ultron where Bruce falls face-first into Widow's boobs...

I didn't understand what Strange figured out when he confronted Dormmanu. The whole movie they said he exists outside space and time. So I would have thought that the time infinity stone wouldn't have worked on him. Or that he can mend back the timeline himself (maybe I've been watching too much Flash).

I was so sure that I figured out the ending would be Strange figuring out to do that mega energy blast like what happened to him when he got shocked in the hospital. I was sure that was going to be how he defeated the dude from casino royale.

I gave it 4/10 because of some of the inappropriate moments of "humor" and the Beyoncé references. 5/10*, best I can do.




*I don't rate movies, a-dev knows what is up.

I agree there were a lot of inappropriate humor moments that took me out of the movie. I feel like it would have been better with a consistent tone in that regard. I mean the story arc of Strange is pretty tragic if you think about it.

I also would have liked more of a dilemma on which path Strange would ultimately choose.
