But your info is the complete opposite of Nu-Who propoganda....you're truly saying here that you can't be bothered with fact checking ANTI-Nu-Who propoganda.

I'm not trying to contradict your opinions about Nu-Who, I just think you shouldn't post a bunch of made up BS in an attempt to validate it.

No I couldn't be bothered because severely bruised tendons in both arms have made it extremely painful to do much of anything for the last week or so let alone go and check facts in a magazine that I wouldn't put in a cat's litter tray.

sorry to hear about your health. grasping at ways to piss on nu-who sounds like a poor way to pass the time, though.

you shouldn't care whether 50 or 1 billion people like nu-who. its existence doesn't harm the classics and if anything they have been catalysts to help expedite their dvd release.

Of course it is but currently I've not really got much else in the way of options so I have to vent my frustration with the world somewhere, somehow.

I lost my friends, partner and career when I first became seriously ill aged 20 and for the last 12 years have been trying to beat that illness and start afresh but unless you have been through that kind of situation then you cannot have an idea of how difficult it is.

Beating the illness part was relatively simple but the starting afresh? Freaking impossible.

not sure how to respond to that other than to say sorry for your losses and ask would you like to talk about your favorite Doctor Who moments?

Just trying to give you a clearer picture of why I can be so erratic, I think the official term for my problem is bipolar disorder or something like that but I call it a pain in the backside ( or should that be head? ).

Some days I win, some days it wins and right now it's not so good even though I've recently managed to get back into employment at the store where I've worked the previous 2 Christmases.

As for my favorite Who moments the greatest is looking increasingly likely to be the outcome of the ebay auctions for my entire DVD & figure collection as I think I'll be glad to see the back of my whole intrest in the franchise which like Star Wars before it has been considerably ruined by the so called online "fandom".

Depends on your kids... my kids will be glued to the set same as me. :lol

But I agree, it looks like it really is going to be a bit more mature minded... one review I read even compared it as slightly less dark in tone than Torchwood Children of Earth. :horror

Apparently Matt Smith's favorite Doctor is Patrick Troughton and in a cool coincidence his agent is Wendy Padbury who played Zoe alongside Pat's 2nd Doctor.

With those kind of influences maybe there's something of a chance he'll be able to repair a bit of the damage his predecessor did to my opinion of the current show :)

I heard that as well. I had no idea Zoe was his agent but some of his facial expressions from set reports had me thinking of The Trout since day one of filming. :rock

She also represents Colin Baker ( 6th Doctor ), Nicholas Courtney ( The Brigadier ) & Mark Strickson ( Turlough ) so she's got quite a lineup of Who stars on her books.

Maybe she could work some magic to get the Brigadier in a Who episode.

Now that WOULD get me to watch at least that episode. IMO he should have been brought out of retirement for "one last job" in that Sontaran story but RTD chose to have him stranded in Peru and UNIT was led by the decidedly wimpy looking Colonel Mace.

I'd also go a step further and say it's time a new member of the Lethbridge-Stewart clan was introduced in the form of a son or nephew and I'd have Chris Barrie play him as he reminds me a bit of a younger Brig.

Watch any bits from Red Dwarf where Rimmer is trying to act all "military" and you'll see what I mean.

Apparently it DOES work for some people here in the U.S.
I posted it on therpf and it worked for some people on there.

Thanks to a guy at Tom Baker's website forum I've got a great link to a site for watching Classic stories without the hassles and risks of downloading,

https://www.planetgallifreytv.blogspot.com

It's got a massive selection from all eras and though the BBC removes the vids every so often I'm told they usually get put back up in a short while.

I started yesterday with "The Seeds of Doom" and will be watching "The Android Invasion" when I finish work later today :)
