Does anybody ever get a little annoyed at people playing online games ?

I don't even play online because of this. It's bad enough I have to deal with douch bags in real life almost everyday (and I can't say anything to them since they're paying my bills), I don't need to deal with it while playing a video game trying to relax.

Besides I have kind of a temper so I'd probably just get myself banned anyway talking back to these a$$holes. I almsot got my friend banned on from XBL about a year ago cause he was letting me play on his gamertag and this guy kept being a d!ck for no reason making a bunch a racial remarks and such and I finally I lost it and said somthing like "just do the world a favor and kill yourself", "You have no right to exist and all your doing is wasting important peoples air". Then he makes a yo mamma remark to which I reply "well yo mamma wanted an abortion but it was too late". Didn't hear a word after that one but the next day my friend gets a warning from Xbox or something cause they guy complained even though he started it. I know that was awefull to say and I was probably out of line but when guys like that dish out ^^^^^ for know reason, they need to expect some people will shove it right back in their mouths.

Yea, I'm just saying. I never start the ^^^^ though, I will defend myself verbally if you someone starts to verbally attack me though. OR I will let them know how I feel without holding back if they are being a ^^^^ to me, my clanmates, or my teammates.

it's sad but true...looks like most of us have have negative experiences playing online...it's full of immature, annoying, uneducated people who like to ruin games!

I usually keep my headset plugged in but not on my ear..just so i don't have to hear anyone! no one ever plays as a team anyways!

The only time you can actually have some fun online is with friends, in a clan that plays organized other than that it sucks!

Yeah I had a pretty good game on COD: WaW a little while back and one of the guys on the other team did the whole spamming chat invites to me also. I could have sworn there was a block communications option or something but I couldn't find anything. I had to turn off my system in order to stop it.

It annoys me too when I run into people like that, especially the ones who run their mouth. It's for that reason that I usually don't even have my headset plugged in whenever I play, unless I'm playing with my friends.

You're absolutely right about that. Games are supposed to be a pass-time for entertainment purposes, but lots of people take them way too seriously.

Prob solved, that and i usually dont use my mic anyways.
The COD and halo 'lifers' are just nuts...it really doesnt mean that much to me.
All online games have jerks or griefers (those who just want to interrupt or destroy the game). Some have more than others...i hear playstation home is ruined because of it

Yea Tay happened to me there are alot of ^^^^^^^s on xbox live I just find it funny there was a guy on gta4 and because I did not kill someone he said something i wont mention because its disgusting.

My team was getting whipped the other day, I was 19 and 8, and no one else on my team had more than 7 kills, and everyone had about between 10 to 16 deaths.

We are playing hardcore S&D, one teammate is left on my team and we need to plant. The other team only has one guy left, now he runs to the bomb, and the other guy is shooting him, instead of killing the guy, he hides before the bomb and plants it while the other guy is shooting and gets nailed. Needless to say if you don't know how to play the game or the particular game mode, don't be playing it. And I let him know it.

As crazy as this sounds some people play it for other reasons than to have fun. Sure the game is always fun, but some are more serious than others. And it's not fair nor kind to those diehards when newbies come in and mess everything up, that we've worked so hard to achieve.

If you wanna have fun and goof around go into a private match. The worst is when newbies on level 1 are in regular death matches bringing you down when they should be in bootcamp. That's what it's there use it, some people need to think before they play.

No it's the whole team, a player can have the best game of his life and still loose because teammates weren't pulling their weight. There's been times I had over 30 kills and my team still lost. Trust me I've seen it a bad team pull down a great player. Stop using your jump to conclusions mat.

A team of all decent players is always going to come out over a team full of one or two good players with 4 or 5 bad ones. I'm presenting the other side to the argument here because I've been on both sides. Think about sports or any other team based game if you get a teammates that have no idea what they are doing or suck, your going to get frustrated.

I just think that the gamers with elitist mentalities should stick to private matches, or join up with a clan of like-minded snobby elitists of their own. Perhaps if that happened, I'd be inclined to rejoin the online world of gaming. Or, perhaps not - I find that playing solo is much more enjoyable.

How old are you? I don't ask to be insulting, but I'd guess between 16 and 21? Seems most people who are really worried about "rank" are in that age group.

A little fact you may want to face is that people have to pratice to become good. You can be awesome at the campaign modes, but playing against other people that you don't know takes work.

When I first put in Gears of War I was terrible at it. Now, I more than hold my own in private or ranked matches. If you want everyone who "sucks" to leave your team then how will they ever get better? Get over your "rank" in video game land play to win, but don't go overboard on every player you think "sucks". I am sure people thought you sucked when you first went into online play vs other people.

I mean seriously, does it really matter if you lose a match? I have played pleanty of matches with players who are less than good. As long as thy are trying i don't get pissy with them. I might comment to someone in our party that the guy blows, but I don't call him out publicly for it because there is no point.

I mean seriously..."I lost rank at a video game ZOMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11" Who cares?
