Re: IS Weight really Matters for quality of Statue??

The weight of a statue does make a difference, I received my Doom PF the other day and he is solid! Much heavier that you'd expect, and it just feels like I got what a paid for. If he was hollow it just wouldnt be the same

my sentiments exactly..

I prefer lighter. Easier/cheaper to ship, easier to move, and in theory (though likely not often in practice) it's cheaper to produce so it should be cheaper to sell.

no i prefer solid

for sideshow statues? not really, weight is not important at all.. prefer solid though...
we admire them by looking not by lifting..

Solid is less breakable than hollow and solid is heavier. So weight should matter, but I don't really giva a f...As long a my statue arrives in one piece I'm ok.

upcoming Hulk maquette n ARH studios Medusa r huge n heavy statues n best sculpt also ......... heavy wins for me.....

I think weight matters to some people but really it's just the perception. If it really matters to you, just have someone else set up your statues for you and tell you it was heavy. Then you will never be disappointed. To me, I want a good pose, paint app, and no QC issues first.
