I don't want or need them to be solid but I just want them to feel solid like I won't be able to puy my fingers through them if I try to pick it up.

Weight is just one of many factors to consider in regards to quality. And its importance falls behind sculpt, paint and pose.

After all, a 50 pound turd is still a turd.
