Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

That would be the smart thing to do. Why spend 2K and worry about potential QC issues? Wait for in hand pics and then order if it's to your liking. SSC will make another batch. It's the smart play IMHO.

Agreed. After a week or so, I don't think the Wolf LSF sell out has put the fear in casual collectors/onlookers to place a preorder. The hardcore fans of the characters? Yes.

Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

I think Wolf sold out so quick cause of major QC issues. I don't think that will be the case for Doom cause of all his cloth. I believe he will be available for much longer, though, not IM long, but I would imagine a ton of folks will be flexing Doom.

Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

As long as there's armor fully sculpted underneath his cloth I could care less. :lecture Because the cloth is a part of his costume! Plus there's plenty of great detail that you can see despite what's being covered up by his cloth costume!

Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

I'm interested in the base dimensions more than anything else.

Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

this thing is huge...I have no room for this...

That's what I'm worried about. Not only is it out of my price-range (I could flex it) but its also out of my scale! I have nothing that would even compare to this in size and no where to display it! :gah: But I still want it. If it's over $2K though it will just make it tougher to convince myself to get it.

Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

That's Doom's actual height guys :lol The piece is 38 inches tall without the base :lol

$2000 is a lot to pay for something you have no room to display. Then again if you really love it then go for it and worry about the rest later.

I may not have room at the moment to display it, but I DO HAVE the room to store it. If I were to wait until I do have room to display it I'd also likely end up paying more when the time came. But I see your point.
