It certainly does come with a sculpted face! as the figure also comes with removable masks, i think there are 2 different designs if im not mistaken. Already for some this piece will be the mecca of all statues! i just wished SSC would get their finger out and put it up for pre order! No doubt we'll get to see alot more of it at this years SDCC

I'd imagine that once this arrives at your door, you'd need to get an iron out and spend about 30 minutes removing all the creases

The one thing that will hurt this piece is this delay in putting it up for preorder. SDCC is around the corner and I think some people will hesitate to order in anticipation of highly anticipated pieces (PF and LSF) that take priority over Doom.

I can only talk for me personally but i dont think there is another piece that is more anticipated than this...SSC should at least give some indication of when this will be up for pre order. Today it looks like the Punisher PF gets its unveiling, Doom LSF next week?

That is a sh!7 load of cloth. This piece is cool, but is very similar to the LSF Maul for me. I'll probably pass on this since I'm not a huge fan of the character. Batman, Hulk or Superman would definitely be tempting....given they come with an ES.

If they had put this up last year I would have ordered one, but now all I see is a Doom that is serenading and won't look anywhere near as good as the proto.

That would be the smart thing to do. Why spend 2K and worry about potential QC issues? Wait for in hand pics and then order if it's to your liking. SSC will make another batch. It's the smart play IMHO.
