Its not a recast Spidey, its an entirely new sculpt. See for yourself in my Show your Shelves thread...im sure Ink was just playing around, i certainly dont take it personally

I did Roberto, just didn't have the time to compare it to the original is all. In the end a lot of guys aroud here make good money doing custom work so if you gave another artist some work I don't see a problem with that. Especially when the price difference would be what?? 2 or 3 NEW PFs worth.

Wow... okay I am just BLOWN away by the quality on that custom RB... HONESTLY, if I EVER was to get a Doom I would be contacting you m8. Customizers are REALLY doing awesome work these days.

Sounds like you can dish it out but you can't take it when you get called on it.

The custom sculpt does look great, but the original conveys a sense of agony and dread that matches well with the throne.

Many thanks for your comments Randy, appreciate your thoughts. I've never owned the original (obviously) and i'm sure it does look amazing in person. Without sounding biased i must admit that i do actually prefer the custom to the original. Little touches like the stonework at the bottom of the custom pedestal is specifically sculpted to coincide with the stonework at the bottom of Dooms throne and also the Griffin bird gives it a Regal precense. I think Dooms throne can be interpreted in many ways, yes there is suffering and dread but there are also angelic like figures on there too...there is so much more to this statue each time you look at it
