It's the special edition, but have no interest in using the gold guns, base, dog or baby DP.

So you guys weren't kidding about the weak ankle pegs. Barely moved his foot and it snapped clean off! Any source for replacement pegs? I think somebody mentioned the love & thunder Thor uses the same pegs?

I still haven't got mine, that stinks about the ankle, hope that doesn't happen to mine.

Thankfully no issues on the ankles. But I always hate how one Deagle mag always falls out of the gun. Smh also I actually think the Deluxe was probably not all that necessary the base is just ****. I would probably try to get a standard but ultimately will just wait for the BD version.

I had a problem with the wrist peg rather than the ankles.
Tried to remove the hand that was already attached and the peg came straight off and stuck inside the hand.
Managed to get the peg out and used one of the spares that come with the figure.

This happens to me with a LOT of Hot Toys releases.
Got Mantis and "No Way Home" Spider-Man over Christmas, same deal.

For those who ordered DP from SSC with a broken ankle, did you reach out to SSC customer service, and did they offer any solutions?

I actually did do this also. HT wrist pegs break way to easy after a few times you switch the hands.

they told me they weren't offering any replacement parts for it.

Yeah they said they didn’t have any spares for it but offered $60 refund. I got a replacement peg from eBay. I’m sure it was from the moonknight figure

Same as the others, no spares but offered me a $35 refund. I have a set of Thor love & thunder boots w/ pegs on the way, try to fix it myself - even though we shouldn't be having to fix a new figure. The wrist pegs break all the time, and it's nice they always include some extras, may need to start doing so with the ankle pegs as well.

Very weird they want to start changing the ankle pegs into these. The normal ball peg joint wasn't bad and didn't have issues. This one seems to be more of a step down in function. It still gets the job done but taking more care isn't the best especially given how expensive these are.

They offered me $35 too but I said that was unacceptable for a figure that cost over $300.
They didn’t even argue just offered me $60 & that was the best they could do.
I’d of rathered a replacement set of pegs tho

100% they should have replacement parts at hand for any issue. It was that and send the whole figure back for a full refund. I think they were only that hard lined tho because the figure was sold out.

Given how frequently I'm hearing about this issue with this particular figure, I'm thinking this would be one that they'd need to address.

It's dumb that HT will only make whatever amount SS asks because they don't want to keep figures in stock on their site. But having spare parts or asking HT for them isn't a problem they just don't want to get the parts.
