I have a decent opportunity to get a reg Doom PF for a sub 2K price. It can be shipped from within Canada, so I would not have to pay customs.
People...is it worth it? Looks great in the pics...but, I will likely have to move out 3 or 4 in my collection to fund this (likely Thanos, Green Hulk Comi EX...probably a couple more).

More or less. The purchase price will not break me, so I can buy it now. But, in order to clear my guilty conscience, I would then attempt to sell off some stuff to A. make room on the shelves, B. come close to breaking even on the purchase price, and C. stay married.

Only you can say whether or not selling that many statues is worth it for the Doom PF. If you are asking me personally, the answer is no. However, I'm not a fan of the Doom PF to begin with. I would rather spend 2K on the LSF. Now that is one hell of a Doom statue. It may even be the finest statue ever made. It looks that good. Also, if they do what they are doing with the Wolverine LSF, it is worth the price tag. If SSC makes one batch and puts a number on the base, no Doom statue will top the LSF in my book. In the end only you can really decide what the Doom PF is worth to you.

Great. The wife and kids are still living with me because I refuse to pay 2K for a REG statue.
On a serious note, that's a lot of $$$ to spend on a REG Doom PF. The thing with me is that I would already know if I really want a statue or not when I'm willing to drop those kind of $$$. I wouldn't have to ask anyone's opinion. If I did, I already know that I won't buy it and don't need it. I would have to already know I want it and think it's a piece I HAVE TO HAVE in my collection. No hesitation then. I would pull the trigger and not think twice about it or have any regrets. But that's just how I roll.

Good points. Problem is, if I have people talking sense into me, how will I ever get a Doom PF? Ha...might hold out for an EX...or the LSF...or something else entirely....we'll see. I know th eLSF looks incredible, but I don't know if I want to get into the LSF game.
The reason I want opinion is because I have only seen this in photos. The photos look great, making me think that this thing might be worth it, but I need some input from people who actually own it.
In all honesty as well...I really need to assess all of my collectibles (statues, figures, comics etc.) and purge what I really don't need. I think I could sell off a bunch of stuff that's just taking up space, pick up this Doom, and still sock away a good chunk of change for a rainy day.

you should be aware NOT to buy this piece because it's overpriced!!!! LOL
It's too bad you don't know someone that owns it. Then you would be able to judge for yourself. Just don't let anyone talk you into it. When that many of your own $$$ is being spent, you are the only one who NEEDS to be happy with your purchase.

if you have to sell other pieces for different reasons, then you might as well hold out for the Ex. version IMO. even buying one of them custom pimp cups will set you back $300-$400 after it comes in from Europe.
up to you and its easy for me to say what to do as I already have the Ex. so I'm a little bias....

Personally I would much prefer to get the LSF, I think that top's the PF IMO but saying that I'm not that bigger fan of the Doom PF believe it or not. Sorry in advance for that
