The PF is better but the LSF is bigger. The pose on the LSF is really dull and almost nonsensical.

make LSF has much merit, because bigger means harder to make the proportions,miguel angel´s david is a work of art, in his time was an event to this big statue

LSF is more striking because is big and well done , so has double merit, why so im angry when some great prototipe pieces have flaws in the painting process

I think the LSF looks freaking amazing. I have never seen it in person, but judging by the photos, this thing will be a classic. But, you can't rag on some one just because they prefer the PF...it is a mighty impressive piece (probably the best I have seen in person).

For me, I prefer the pose on the PF. The size and the detail of the LSF are its strong points. For the same price, sure, go with the LSF...it's the more impressive piece.

But, I was able to get my PF for at least 1K cheaper than what the LSF would end up costing me (all speculation, but assuming 2.5K + shipping + customs + tax + currency exchange)...in that light, it's PF all the way for me.

I totally understand it is a personal taste, my comment earlier was simply responding to someone comment when he said LSF is nowhere close to the PF, which I strongly disagree. I was just expressing my disagreement with that statement just like he was expressing his opinion on the LSF.

I am not saying PF is bad by any means, in fact I think is one of the best (if not the best) PFs ever made. If I can have it for a reasonable price I may get it my self, but now since LSF is coming and knowing the going rate for the PF, I personally would prefer the LSF, it's more bang for my buck.

Thanks, my man. I don't think you can go wrong with the Doom LSF...Sideshow seem to be taking their time with this one, so I think it will turn out awesome.

I think some of the PF owners secret fear is once the LSF comes out someone will post pictures of the two together. That will make the PF look like Mr. Punyverse. Looking puny and clearly less detailed could not only hit the ego of the PF owners but also the retail value of the statue.

I don't think the PF value will drop. You have to remember that not a lot of people have the room to display an LSF.

the value wont drop. it's 2 different lines and the pf is one of the original sideshow grails. it wont ever lose value. even if they made the same pf in 1/2 scale.

The PF definitely won't drop in price. It's not even worth mentioning. If it was to drop it would be dropping now with collectors knowing the LSF is coming.

There is no doubt that the LSF will dwarf the PF. Heck, the PF is already dwarfed by my Hulk comiquette, and that is 1/5 scale.

The fact that there is an LSF coming has already caused some people to wait for it rather than bother with the PF. But, in my opinion, the PF market and the LSF market are two separate things. I may be proven wrong, but I don't see any LSF significantly affecting the value of a PF of the same character...they're just two completely different animals.

at people thinking the LSF will effect the price of the PF.

these are two totally different pieces that appeal to two totally different collectors. very few will be getting the LSF due to expense and display constraints. which will only push the original release higher imo.

Judging from the comments here in this thread some PF owners already seem shaken. They don't seem too happy a bigger and better Doom is on the way. Fact is once the LSF is out that will be the new Doom grail to most people. The PF owners are desprately fighting againt the inevitable even now. They just are not too happy to see a better version coming out. I don't have any stake in this. I have no plans to get either.

Doom PF owners are not worried at all...the LSF Doom or Shakespeare in the park will come and go just like most statue's but Doom PF will always be one of the best,if not the best
