I have Cowboy Bebop as well. I have most of the Ghibli movies on dvd. The only one I have on blu ray is Ponyo. I hate every time I buy these movies or shows on dvd and like a year later they make it on blu ray.

I could watch the anime but that's like 250 episodes also so just another time sink. I'm not sure what you mean with the anime being behind? You can usually find subs for those shows within 24-48h of airing in Japan.
As far as manga go I'm not sure we're the US editions are but I'm pretty sure the French editions are matching the Japanese issues exactly or maybe one volume behind.

I said that too when a friend of mine recommended it but then I breezed through it in a month. :lol

Haha yeah. I only had the Ghibli movies in the HK dvd set with the few exceptions that you see in the pic but I recently got all the Japanese blurays. Amazing quality and restoration, great packaging, English and French subs (and more).
They just cost $60 a piece...

I hear you but I'd rather read the mange for these. Less filler material.

No I understand but I still prefer subtitles. I have a fairly sizable anime collection as well but rarely do I buy blind. I tend to download fansubs and then buy the dvds if I really like the anime.
I also have all the Japanese Ghibli bluray that have been released so far but not in the pic.

VERY COOL!! I l love Cowboy Bebop! I also prefer subtitles, voice dubbing will never show the true emotions presented in Japanese.

Right on! :1-1:
If you love Cowboy Bebop do you have the awesome album called 'Music for Freelance'? It's remix album of the series by Yoko Kanno and a must-have.

I will check Speed Grapher out and I for a fact know that they do have subtitles, the original Inuashya is that way on Netflix

Honestly Speed Grapher isn't bad but it's not amazing either. I won't buy it on DVD for example.
There are many more important anime to watch before that.

Saint Seiya Myth Cloth EX Virgo no Shaka & Scorpion no Milo - Bandai

Just got these little puppies that I was a bit behind on getting but thankfully I found a good deal for the pair on ToyArena.
Not opening these yet since they're full of little pieces and I'll wait to put them together.
