Hopefully now that Diamond has merged with Art Asylum this kind of thing wont continue. From what I can gather from talking to some of the sculptors I've met, Diamond has certain sculptors they like to work with, and seldom hand out projects to anyone outside that circle of artist. Which is a shame, because they have some great properties (Buffy, Firefly, BSG, Star Trek, Stargate, 24, ect), but never deliver on quality figures. I would love to see 1/6th scale figures from any and all of those license, but not if they are going to look like this. I'll buy figures that come with good clothing and accessories, even if I don't like the head sculpt. I long ago came to the conclusion that in order to have the figures I really want, I'm only going to get them by having custom heads done. This figure doesn't have any qualities that make it worth buying, in my opinion. If there was some character specific gear and clothing I'ld consider, but not if this is all you get.

That is actually so bad that i would hope somebody with a grudge against Diamond has hacked their site and replaced the image of Bauer with one from a 1977 Bronx drugstore suppliers catalogue of blow moulded toys.
Hands down the worst figure i ve seen in living memory.Has no place at all in 2007.

Who ever made this should be ashamed. I could do better sculpting w/ my butt cheeks, and I suck at sculpting. What's worse was this had to be ok'd, that person should lose their job.
