Ok I can see why the new game would leave a bad taste in everyone's mouth, but did you really think a game 14 yrs in the making was gonna be any good!?? 
Gearbox only helped to touch it up and release it(clearly a bad idea) but the game was mostly done. Yea, the game wasn't the best, but it sure as hell wasn't the worst! I mean I can think of a few major name games that came out this yr alone that was a major pile of ____! Duke was the man in the 90s and this is the perfect collectible to represent that. DN3D was a bad ass game and this is a bad ass statue, nothing can change that.

@gagaliya: Sucker Punch was terrible. RIDDICK meant that it was an insult to Duke Nukem to compare it to Sucker Punch (in other words, Duke Nukem -- however bad DNF was -- is miles ahead of the cardboard cutouts in that crappy movie).

The head without cigar is the exclusive. It's angled more looking down the sight of his gun. Would have been better if it was sculpted more aggressive. Though I would have liked a switch-out gun instead. Like the shotgun.

DNF may be a crappy game but the character didn't change a whole lot since DN3D so this could represent any game in the series.
And the statue is not bad.... but I'm not feeling it for some reason. I think it's the base I'm just not a fan of.

I loved Duke Nukem as a kid. As a $10 clearance Neca figure, hell yeah! $300 statue, no thanks. That being said though this looks really impressive.

Even though I have no interest in buying it, it is a great looking statue regardless. I do like that they are doing other licenses and expanding their lineup. Hopefully we'll see more video game characters down the line.

Like every other collectible made, this statue is for the fans of this character. It sounds very stupid and single minded to say that a character shouldnt have something to represent him just based on the last outing he had. Thats like if they made a ninja gaiden statue and I said something like, what a waste of resources and talent making this just cause NG3 was about the worst game ever made. It just sounds stupid. And that can go with other things too like HT and the Green Lantern license or even Sucker Punch. Bottom line, whats done is done and there is no changing that now. The statue is up for PO and its for its fans.
