Like what?As with the first part it’s a watchable entertaining sci-fi with exceptional effects, but as an adaptation of Dune it’s sorely lacking with some baffling decisions made. Definitely Villeneuve’s Dune rather than Herbert’s.

I think the newborn birth and her specific scene is the biggest change that and the narrative condensed from years to months.Like what?
What powersJust saw the film. This film is to science fiction movies what the original LOTR trilogy is to fantasy films.
I think this is the film or story George Lucas wanted to tell in the Prequel Trilogy. However, this film is like a gourmet meal, while Star Wars is a Mcdonalds Happy Meal, toys included.
My only complaint, I wish the film would've shown Paul using his powers more, once he became "the one." He still was badass by the end tho.
Now I want some figures from this film.
Why are we comparing Dune to Star Wars, again?
What powers
They’re best viewed back to back if you have a spare 5 hoursUnlike the first one which serves as a great starting point this movie truly is a cinematic masterpiece that’s gonna go down in history as one of the big ones and it does Star Wars better than Star Wars does Star Wars.
I will say though that the seams nearly bursted under all of that narrative weight of “is he or isn’t he the Messiah”, but it just held on enough to give a super fulfilling movie and conclusion.
Because Dune was a huge influence on Star WarsWhy are we comparing Dune to Star Wars, again?
This is Lawrence of Arabia, Ben-Hur, Ten Commandments, Gone with the Wind, JAWS ----
Morons!!Journalists continue to make it impossible to take them seriously.
Shocker, a movie with “part two” in the title expects you to have watched part one.
