Do you have a Feyd sculpt yet? Can we see?

I love Lynch's Dune. It has some odd bits, and it doesn't always match up with the book, but I love the look of the film.

Agree! And I LOVE the odd WTF bits like milking the cat machine and the heart plug. Fantastic. That film is visually incredible and I wish there was an art book.

Can't wait to see more, Spenser! Great work so far!

Yeah, I remember seeing this movie in the theaters when it was originally released and they actually handed out a small glossary sheet. As we watched we scrambled to try to look up a word.. What a blast!!

A good bit, it really needs to be pressure cast or vacuumed. It’s pretty thick also, so it’s hard to pour.

I've been messing around with silicone 'dragon skin' with pigment to colour. Same deal, thick and low viscosity. I found the best thing to use was a big plastic syringe (no needle) and pump the silicone into the mold. Puts it under pressure immediately and helps with reducing bubbles a little.

I'm new to this forum so I don't know how you sell your customs. I just saw the amazing Highlander figures you did. I liked Highlander a lot but I LOVE Dune. How do I get on the list to get any of these Dune figures? I have been collecting Dune stuff my whole life. I have to try and get these if I can. I can pay up front and early. Please PM me with details.

Trying to get some other projects/orders filled etc. so I can get back to this, I have made more parts of the suit so I will have more to show soon. It’s making the mirror image parts for the other side of the body that always slow me down.

I still do everything by hand from scratch, no 3D printers here…not that there’s anything wrong with that!

Still suit would have to be one of my Grail pieces too - never, ever had the guts to even attempt it! Superb work, Spenser!

Hows about a 2014 update??? Are you near supply time - is it whole figure or can you do just suits?

Paul “muad'dib” Atreides.

This is my grail figure, I’ve been working on and off on this for five years now. I finally found a way to do the stillsuit without a lot of hassle. The main body came out better than I expected and is cast in a soft urethane rubber .

A little more done...the leg section came out way better than I thought, although I do need to adjust it some. The other parts are coming along. This will be my next project after Dave Bowman.

I just noticed that you did update recently. Looks great. I think you are losing the likeness in the paint job. The gray face sculpt looks really good. Something is off in the painted face. His eyes seem too small or his overall face is too big? I don't notice it in the gray sculpts at all. Can't wait to see more.
