Well lets not forget some took over a month to see signs of it. When I first got my replacement body I hadn't had oil for a long time. Now a month later I have a little drop. So don't get too relieved yet.

Well than I have to check my DCD batman almost every day than. If it will start to leak oil, than I will use the kitchen towel trick I gues and hoping it will cure the problem.

dcd doesnt have that problem cause its plastic. stop looking

I believe it leaks because it might be a 2 part rubber and if it isnt mixed to the correct % it bleeds. My resin mix is 50/50. If I got 55/45 the casted piece is oily and continues to bleed for 2 weeks and thats after its has been washed with dish soap.

That's bad advice man. The DCD does have that problem because I have a DCD Bats and it had a little big of oil. I've since put paper towels in it and it's oil free for now. This doesn't mean it wont come back. It took a while for it to surface so after wiping it away I assume it'll take a few weeks to come back.

Yeah the oil isn't as serious on this as the previous but it's still there nevertheless and I'm having to wipe the little black trim area twice a day now. It only takes 3 seconds to clean it till it's dry matte again. At least one good thing it's not on the kevlar pattern area.

However, when ashkanls said stop looking... look what happened to my previous figure when I stopped looking at it and left it alone.

Correct. It is the one with plastic abdominal plates. As I said though, this oil never showed up until earlier in the week. Even though they have been standing on my desk dry all that time.

Very bad news. This means that there is still a chance the oil could corrode the bicep plates. We all know how bad the oil can get. UGH damn you Hot Toys for ruining such a great figure. Vodoun you should try contacting DCD or Hot Toys. I dont know if DCD will do anything, but they are the US rep for Hot Toys's DC figures. So try them first I say.

I've got a DCD version in my BBTS "Pile of Loot," but am considering canceling it given this news. Don't want two figures down the road that are ruined because of bad QC.

This is a replacement body directly from Hot Toys. The same figure thats from the DCD batch. I only got it on the 11th of June which cost me £17 to send it to Hot Toys in Hong Kong.

I'm not going to fork out another £17 to ship it off to Hong Kong again in case that replacement *may* have leakage once again. Where does it end? it had been dry until some point last weekend or Monday past then has slowly getting darker and darker.

The difference is it seems like its only the replacement body so far that is leaking. i also stated it should come from the same batch, therefore the same factories, but you guys with the repalcement did get it before the DCD launch so Hot Toys probably rushed it again.
