Oh yeah, like the day they all started oozing was the day it was damaged. Faulty goods from day 1.

It's either in or out. There's no in between. This isn't a program that partially works.

I disagree -- just read the thread -- the proof is in the pudding. I'm taking names...
:gun

...but it hasn't cured it for you. So why does it supposedly work for some and not for others, unless the others that said it's cured are not being fully honest with the every so slight leakage or severely slowed down leakage.

I can't figure that one out myself mine dosn't leak at all anymore go figure. But mine never leaked that much only the bottom of the plates got wet on mine

i've found some answer to this problem, it is not some kind chemical between the trousers and the upper suit but by slghtly stretch the abb will automatically suck in the moisture back so i used some kind of hard foam inside the suit and the result is good

Stretch the abs and you'll damage the paint. It'll wrinkle. Thats only a soft covering.

That was how my other figure went and cleared up many weeks ago. It's got nearly nothing in below the suit. A kitchen roll cutting no bigger than your finger tip.

The other one is a different matter. It oozes for a few days then clears up for a while. It stopped for quite a while then all of a sudden started for no apparent reason. It's been sitting in the same position more or less this past month. No pressure on it or anything. It seems to keep cycling. Then out of the blue the left bicep started oozing far more than the abs the past week and so far has never stopped until somewhat yesterday afternoon once I packed it with tissue. Only the other day the right bicep slowly started shining up. That too is now packed.

There's just no pattern to this. Apart from this one had now reached the stage it would start showing wet marks within hours. The oil has also eaten into the stock paint that it left a plastic like sheen to it from being stripped. Like it was dissolved. The two lower plates. That has been amended like how cr0w done his.

This is now a good 12 hours later. Still monitoring it all.

If I can get frigging imageshack to load....

Received from HT the so called new and improved Batman DX body today. Difference? The belly is not glued to the pants by default now. Instead, between the belly and pants is a sheet of transparent film.

So maybe the rumours are true that the oil is caused by some kinda chemical reaction between the pieces.

Let's see if this really solves the issue...

Nothing to photo. Nothing is different.

I can't see the DCD shipment being fixed then.

Well, at least it's something more than "should be fine", not overly assuring, but at least there is some visible sign of preventative action being taken.

Maybe this is starting to add up now. On mine, the top portion is not glued to the pants, which is maybe why mine wasnt nearly as bad as others I've seen...and since I put a cotton round between the two layers, it hasnt oiled up....perhaps it needs to "breathe" a bit between the two layers?

Dude I am crossing every single paired limp I have to hope this is resolved :p

I wasn't trying to be funny Geil, Eddie Wong reported that his replacement has a film inside the shirt to help stop/prevent the oil issue, I'm curious if they all do and if it's a consistent attack at resolving this.

oh crap haha
I totally misread your statement :rotfl
I read: Do your fiingers have a transparent sheet on the inside like Eddie's?
sorry had to speedread all these posts as there are always so many to catch up on from overnight and the morning

I re-ordered the DX Batman from BBTS. I am crossing my fingers when I get mine the oil issue is resolved.

I feel for those who are having problems.

Still stingy they weren't upfront about this and offered it to people to try it before damage set in but I guess they wanted to go the silent route and pretend nothing bad happened with a supposedly so called silent fix.

Though even with that I have tissue behind the entire front and it was still oozing but at a greatly reduced rate. Only the acrylic paint plugged it. It hasn't came back to the surface.

Yeah, it does seem like it takes a lot of pressure on them to get a replacement, and if all of them have this new film that Eddie mentioned, then clearly there is a tried "fix" that everyone with the problem should be entitled too. Maybe learning of this fix will inspire some to put more pressure on HT to get a replacement for themselves. I do want to know if Eddie's is the only one at the moment or if others that recently got a replacement have that film in place.

I too, am interested to see what this thin film looks like, and if possible where we could get one to fix the oil problem.
