There're two different things going on. As was the case with Maglor and a few others, there's residue from the tape making the figure tacky. However, as was the case with Rory's, the oil is seeping out of the suit.

Is it to my understanding all the problems are centered around the belt area or has anyone had issues elsewhere??

Ive only opened 1 of 5 so far. Its was last Wed, when I got my last two shipped to me. I opened one from the first SS shipment.

Count me as one with the tape/magnet. I took paper out and put belt back on. After dicking around trying to get weapon to stay on belt, I took off belt to see were the magnet was actually located to see if I was missing it. There was a wet spot where it was, and the underside of the belt where the tape was at, was really "juicy" looking. And I could just slide the tape right off with my thumb.

I took out magnet and cleaned the belt. Put it back on, and a week later, nothing. I didnt bother putting the magnet back in because it wasnt strong enough anyways.

So no more tape/glue residue, and no oil as of yet.

Was going to wait to open others, but when I have a chance to, I will remove all tape and magnets from belts.
