Dude that looks incredible. Collar area looks far better. If they weren't sown down you really think they'd stay in position?

thanks and yes. the upper lapel area where the top studs are aren't sewn down actually, just the lower ones, if that makes sense. What I did was undid the thread that was holding them down (2 per side). Then, just creased the lapels how I wanted them (constantly rubbing the crease so that it becomes the new fold) then I put him back in the box making sure they were still in the place, and completely sealed him up even back in the brown shipper just to be safe and kept him in there over night. When I opened him up, the lapels were still in place. even after futzing with him to make sure I got the needle in the right position, they naturally went back to the new crease/fold

here are my (arguably) better pics. I love this pose and the sculpt so much that I can't put the shades on him for the Galleria set up just yet.

While I would never argue MMS117 over DX10 for likeness and overall portrait quality, I can see why some would still like MMS117 over DX10. With the sunglasses off, the DX10 looks like a good depection of the more "human" Arnie of post chip switch, where MMS117 definitely had that intense, cold, machine quality to his expression. Depending on what you're after, DX10 will never work, no matter how much better the likeness to Arnold is.

I dunno, bow his head a little, turn his eyes up a little. You might be able to capture the intense Terminator stare of MMS117

thanks! I always loved the SS T2 PF but never got it so this is as close as I can get, and I'm more than happy about that :lol

I agree.

Like this pic from Luka. He looks intense right here (to me at least)

The PF is cool, but having either DX10 or even the Enterbay figure are much better. The PF was to skinny, cheaply done outfit, poor paint, the only really good part about it was Trev doing the portrait.

Sorry enterbay , hot toys is waaaaaaay better IMO :clap

I still think the "perfect" Arnold is somewhere between HT and EB. Both have pros and cons, one thing you can really say for HT is that they did a similar job but in a smaller scale, which is tougher.

One thing I like much better about EB's is the expression. I still don't like the sad face of DX10. And, of course the neck. But HT's hair kills EB.

There both epic, but I love the leather work on the 1/4 scale by EB. Not taking anything away from HT cause it's hard to make real leather look awesome in 1/6. They did an amazing job on the outfit too.

I really like both paint apps on the HT & EB versions.....I don't really think I could choose a favorite. They look different, yet both are Arnie hands down. I think due to the scale EB has more detail in theirs, but both are great. Here is a comparison for ref.

wow...I like them both...they're both great, and since one is 1/4 and the other is 1/6 I don't see the argument....I would be tempted to get that Enter bay Terminator also, if it was 1/6....thank god I don't do the 1/4.....

Yes, with the shades on they look very similar next to each other, but with the shades off you can see several differences in the sculpts. Both are freaking awesome!!! :) I should have taken a picture with their shades on too.:slap

The proof in that statement is where it comes from, I have yet to hear anyone who got this dx in hand say that its not a better figure, all the sceptic's are people who don't own it. I still dig my mms117 don't get me wrong it was and still is a great figure, however the dx tops it.

They are both awesome figures...and in my opinion the two best 1/6 figures ever made, both have their pro's and cons...me? I love them both and can't wait until the Battle Damage version come out...for me there is no debate...they are both f--king awesome I want to see Hot Toys top these figures :clap:clap:clap:clap

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

I know I am going to be ripped to shreds for saying this, but man would I like Hot Toys to do Sly as Judge Dredd.....

I would be happy if HT would make anything with Sly, but especially a Rambo 4 DX!!!:blissy Also, they need to release Barney Ross version 2!!!

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

aw man that is harsh.....:lol:lol

:lol brutal....

Sorry had to be done, you were asking for it, you know you were:lol Judge dredd was one of slys worst films imo, If a figure of him is to be made it should be rambo, rocky, or maybe from that cobra movie, he looked cool in that. IDK it kinda like wanting an arnie figure from jingle all the way or mr. freeze or maybe even last action hero:monkey4
