no need for neck joints or all the rest.
i only need two arms from shoulder to palm (with or without palms, shoulder/body joint intact) :)
cannot use T1 bodies, they have better (smaller) shoulders but are too white.

Got this today, and right out of the box the strap for the grenade launcher fell off the barrel . Any tips on how to secure it back in there? It doesn't want to clip, just sorta falls out.

I hadbad experience with my arnie as well. Mine straight out of the box i was trying to adjust the bandolier so that could fit it over the neck and on the shoulder, and it came apart. I think it just came out of the buckle so i stuck it back in no problem

Then as i was trying to switch out the right hand the peg snapped, i mean on the first try too. Hand peg wasn't easy to switch out eith because it wouldn't come out the wrist hole. I mean hands are getting realy hard to remove safely now which is something that shouldn't be a problem. They keep making the hole really tight and the pegs real small too.

The biggest issue of all is the shoulder strap for the duffle bag, it has a wire in it but have no idea why since it doesn't help. What did you guys do to make it stay on the shoulder? I kinda play with it until i can get it to stay and just leave it alone.

Still an awesome piece and the likeness and detail rocks!

Well I will say the wrist pegs on this figure are some of the tightest I've seen, I actually never changed them on my orginal figure but I bought a compete nude with extra hands and wrist pegs for an arrival scene t-800, and opon assembling the figure I was surprised how tight they were, nothing broken as I was careful but yeah there tough.

As for the bag I found the easiest way to help it to stay on his shoulder was to hook it over the metal buckle on the bandoyler.

Yep, those pegs are really stuck in the wrists. That would have been a good thing on the DX08, with those damn socks that go over the pegs.

I bought a cheap little hair dryer and keep it on my supply table, so it's always ready to be used for the difficult hands & pegs. With the bag you just have to futz with it & position Arnie, until it stays put.

I'm not going to read through 6000+ posts:lol so I'll just ask:

What's the general consensus on the DX vs. MMS? Is it worth fetching the DX body and head if you already have the MMS figure? Thanks.:duff

I would say definitely get the new body and the shades from DX10. The old clothes are just as good as the new leathers tbh. The new body is more accurately sized and shaped to Arnie's T2 physique and the MMS clothes thankfully don't hide this, they fit nicely and have that bit of weathering that isn't there on the DX10 clothes.

The head is a big topic of debate, it really splits people. I think its a better likeness but not without problems. It appears too young to many people's eyes, hair is a bit puffy on the back like the original Enterbay figure and the PERS can look bad sometimes. Conversely in the right light the PERS can look great and give you nice options. The removeable scalp feature is also pretty nifty and nice to have.

I would say its definitely worth the body upgrade. I think a-dev pretty much summed it up in regards to the hs.

is that really necessary? I just pull slowly, really slow :huh:huh
