Homeslice! :slap

Keep that between you and your johnson. Waaaaay TMI

Yeh, that was kinda weird.... Plus, I'm not the only one to use a hair dryer to loosen pegs, or hands from time to time. Usually you can swap without any heat, but every once in awhile it helps. :huh I dunno, maybe it was a horrible idea......:lol

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

I use a hair dryer all the time, if you really think about it you need to use something to soften the plastic. Buying replacement wrist pegs especially the bigger one of the muscular bodies can get pretty expensive.

And for those guys with all the broken red and black wrist pegs for their Spiderman and Batman figures, even worse.

man... lol it's been awhile since I've been around you guys!

nice burn I better re-read my posts...

Hey I didn't mean it that way, was it the double shrug? again... been awhile that was an accident...

I just figure pulling out the hair dryer and "heating" stuff is a tad unnecessary but there is certainly a solution for everything... I have used my fat stinky breath if that's any consolation... same pile

Thats kinda damaging the figure, I think its easier to just heat up the peg with a blowdryer then getting out a dremel and maybe making the hole to big and causing possible damage:dunno

really boring to heat every time to swap the hands, I've dremelled mine a little bit impossible to notice that any damage... and now is very easy to swap the hands....:wink1:

Whatever works for you, if your happy thats all that matters:wink1: I don't swap hands offen myself, infact I have'nt changed the ones that came on the figure since I got it. I've been lucky with all my hot toys in that reguard so far, I haven't broken one peg since I've been collecting , however those old truetype slims from years ago had a knee break for no reason, I'm glad they changed from that brittle plastic they used to use.

That's cool. Usually it takes only once or twice with heat for the real tough pegs, then they get loose enough to swap with ease again. The drill works too, but I only do that for the broken peg inside the forearm.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

I've never had to dremmel , blow dry , heat , EVER to take a hand or wrist peg off any of my figures .

Now i have about 40 figures , at one time when i was making money i had about 70.

Just Sayin.......

Ironically, this DX 10 Arnold was the first figure I've ever had where I accidentally broke the hand peg. :lol

I know people complain about it constantly, especially with the original OC Batman and Spider-Man figures, but it never happened to me before. The worst thing involving hand pegs for me is the DX 08 Joker but that's because of the white sleeves and peg popping out, not breaking.

So yeah, it snapped. The ball was in the forearm and the peg was in the hand. I had to gently take the peg out (thankfully it was already half way out, no damage to the hand) but the peg stuck in the forearm socket was a mother ****er. I eventually got it out without messing or cutting up the forearm, put in a new hand peg, and viola, no more problems.

^ Same here. In fact all my pegs broke but one. At first I figured it was just a fluke. By the time I got to the third I was like WTF!! Don't know whats up with these.
