I'm putting the winners of E3 2011 as...

SONY: Uncharted 3, 3D TV and PSV
NINTENDO Wii U, an okay start, needs more distance from motion gaming
MICROSOFT Halo 4, useless Kinect games (boring after an hour of play)

Their conference was poorly structured. They barely showed the actual console but instead focused on the controller.

i kept thinking are they were just demo-ing this on the current wii cos' thats what it looks like

But E3 isn't over yet! Still lots of games to be shown. There just aren't any other conferences, I think.

Was Nintendo better? I don't think so.
What about online Play? Is it free? How will the chat work? I mean they are on now saying they are going to let the third parties organise the online, what does that mean? Nothing to show but the same old same in HD, and then a bunch of third party games playing on other consoles

Im not sure but it's soon and it's today. Somtime during the end of the day we'll find out but I dont get G4 anymore so i have to wait for the trailers to come online and stream the comference's. I know they will be a demo though.

I haven't watched any presentations yet, so I'm just going by articles, but I think Sony gets the win with the $250 Vita bomb.

I'm really excited about what was shown by Nintendo, but it's hard to get too excited without pricing and a smaller ship window.

Microsoft had nothing for me.

It's funny to see how everyone's picking Sony as the winner, when just yesterday, they "sucked" .

Anyway, this E3 was pretty mellow compared to previous years. I can't say that I expected new stuff on the Sony front this time, but Microsoft and Nintendo were kinda disappointing as well. Also, no news on MGS Rising ?! Maybe that's the reason for why Kojima stayed away from this year's E3.

Tell me about it. This E3 is more like a follow up to next year's E3, with a big "to be continued" from all of the three of the console makers. Hopefully, next year would be what this year should have been.

most boring e3 yet man. only good stuff IMO was Tomb Raider, Ninja Gaiden 3, PS Vita pricing and DMC.

hopefully they'll have cool figures on show to make up

Hmm, yes that was one boring E3. Nothing new that would've been of interest to me.

I'm still waiting for that Timesplitters 4 announcement. ...yes I know it will never happen...sadly.

Sony and Microsoft seem to have very different strategies.

Sony is emphasizing how motion controls on the PSV are optional, the player can choose which controls is best for them.

Microsoft showed strictly motion only kinect games, with no option of anaglouge controls.

I'm with Sony on this one, give the consumer the choice, a game that can be played in either touch or button or both rather than a game with only one choice displayed in the kinect titles.

I think Kinect should be implemented into franchise games slowly and steadily rather than having minigames that look under-developed.
