The Star Wars MMO looks so cool. One of the top things I'm looking forward to. I play World of Warcraft and this will blow that game away since I'm so into Star Wars. I can't wait.

PC only I believe.

I believe so too.

Which really sucks because I can't afford to upgrade my computer. Plus, I don't use it for gaming. That's why I bought game consoles.

What would really be great (and I don't know if it's ever been done before) is if they could release SW: TOR for PC, 360, and PS3, and you can ALL join in the same online world. Has such a cross-platform online world ever been done before???

I'm so giddy with excitement with all the awesome games that have been showed so far. I haven't been this excited about an E3 announcements in a LONG time. And Nintendo and Sony haven't even gone up yet.

Favorite part of the Expo so far. And the way it was presented with all the dudes on stage and then having one be Ray was wicked. Great way to end their conference.

That bwas INSANE..if the graphics are all that with cut scenes of that calibur, I sold! That sith lord looked like a decendant of bane or malak. I know banes apprentice was a girl.

That's crazy. I thought this would happen, but not for a while. This will piss off the retailers.

not only buying games via Live but renting games. that would crush Gamefly...or really hurt them since their 360 rentals would suffer but maybe not since with Gamefly you can rent PS3 games too but it would hurt them i would imagine.

"Microsoft's E3 keynote was so jam-packed the company decided to wait until afterwards to announce what might be the biggest new feature of them all: on-demand access to full retail games. The service will launch in August with 30 titles to start, and new games will be added weekly, with pricing to match retail. The best part? Purchases can be made directly with a credit card, no pesky Xbox points required. More pics of the system after the break.

Update: Don't get your hopes up, MS tells us that the point system isn't going anywhere, it's just being supplemented with credit card purchases. Also, game rentals aren't happening yet, but they said it "sounds great for the future.""

Well I don't think it would hurt Gamefly that much as there thing is renting as many different games as you want for as long as you want for a set amount of money each month. With this you would still be paying for individual rentals and with a set rental time.

i would imagine though that M$ would have a monthly plan to do the same type thing but if they did not then you're right Gamefly would be a better deal. Gamefly took waaay to long to receive and then ship to me so i'm paying more to use blockbuster right now.

If MS does have a monthly plan like that then I'll be all over it and drop GF. I imagine that if they do decide to do something like that then it will be an announcement at the next E3. I live in the same state as my GF facility so I get games within a day or two, but for people who have to wait a while it probably isn't worth it.

Holy ^^^^^ DID anyone else see that Star Wars trailer!!!!! It was better than the last several movies!!!

That Old Republic trailer was better than anything in the prequels!! (Someone had to say it.)

Seriously though, when the Sith come piling out of the transport I screamed outloud. So sweet.
