I wonder if the Sith Lord shown in the trailer is the Sith Emperor of the True Sith they referred to in KOTOR 2? If so while he looks cool, I kinda expected something different for a Sith Lord who possibly killed Revan and the Jedi Exile.

Which really sucks! Man this game looks so frickin' sweet but sadly I'm not a fan of MMO's plus I don't feel like paying $600 + for a new PC just to play a game. Hopefully they'll release an RPG version for 360 or something down the line.

Never going to happen that way. It could possibly come to consoles though--there is a rumor they're trying to take LOTR Online to the consoles. But this shouldn't be something that's too graphics intensive. They are aware of many people that don't have beasts of computers and want it to be easy to access.

I don't see it coming to anything but the PC. MMO's have really only worked on the computer. Point and click is easier for those types of games. Unless they make keyboard and mouse controllers and functionality to be used on the console with the game I don't see it happening on consoles.

Controls are completely not an issue, if they want it on the consoles they'll figure out a good control scheme

I've played lots of MMOs on the computer and the way they are played I can't think of a good way this can be put on a console's controller at all. Keyboard and Mouse are the only way MMOs can be played properly in my opinion because the character actions are set on icons you have to click and there are far too many actions to map to a controller.

Holy ^^^^^ DID anyone else see that Star Wars trailer!!!!! It was better than the last several movies!!!

That Old Republic trailer was better than anything in the prequels!! (Someone had to say it.)

Seriously though, when the Sith come piling out of the transport I screamed outloud. So sweet.

Now that's the way the PT should've been done! I don't want to see Jedi fighting bugs. I want all out war with the Sith!

People said that about RTS games too, and now we've got tons of RTS games on consoles.

Have you ever played an MMO on the PC? RTS games controls are not even the same type of game. RTS controls are easy to map to a console. MMO actions are not.

Oh no, I'd never buy it as it's an MMO and for PC.

Now if they made it for the 360 or PS3, I'd probably have to just from their previous track record.

I was REALLY hoping it was a RPG-style console game like I & II, but no love!
