LOL! I told him that yesterday when he asked who wanted coffee. :lol Now if I could just get someone to answer the phone at this damn Japanese place I would be good. :tap

Coffee sucks. Brownies ( w/o mint ) = good.

Sweet. We can order from the place I wanted to go Sat night, they deliver and I don't think any of us will be able to drive :monkey3

Ok guys I am calling and making reservations for dinner. It will be for Friday at 5:30. I know so far it is Loki, Croft, Havyck, Mfoga, KitFisto, and myself. Is there anyone else planning on coming to dinner? It will be at the Sakura Steakhouse the Laurel MD location.

5:30 should be good as long as I don't get delayed. Thats about an hour after I am scheduled to get in.

That's what I told them. Assuming you're on time, should be plenty of time to get back and then check them into the hotel on our way.

Well I was gonna make either a chocolate cake or some mint/chocolate brownies. Any preference?

I was going to send ooey gooey chocolaty goodness along with McHavyck. That's brownies to all who don't speak chocolate.

That's only if you want though. I was making some anyway for my girlie trip.

Hey guys, I'm the one bringing the other XBOX, so... what I need to know is what games I should bring to play and so we can do system link. I already know to bring Scene It! and Gears of War. Of the other stuff I have, I can bring Rock Band (with drums, mic, and 2 guitars), Guitar Hero II, Guitar Hero III, Call of Duty 4, The Orange Box (for Team Fortress 2), and Rainbow Six: Vegas (I don't have the sequel, yet). Let me know what to bring, I'm not bringing them all if I don't need to, ya know?

That being said, if I don't have something that you think we should play, bring it.

I have 4 controllers, 4 headsets, but only one plug and play. I have Havyck bringing his 2 (correct?), so someone else needs to bring one, just in case really.

I'm also bringing half a case of Miller High Life Light (unless I'm told not to) because I feel like I need to provide something. I'm not gonna drink it all because I only drink 1 to 3 depending. So anyone who wants to have some of it can. Also, should I bring any food or anything? I feel like I should help.

P.S. I've never eaten at a Japanese restaurant before, so if I seem retarded about it, I'm saying sorry right now. Is this a completely casual eatery?

Croft it looks like you will be my driver! :lol

About the Japanese place. It is 100% casual. You will love it. Your table is the grill and they cook everything in front of you. They will do silly little tricks and stuff while they cook. The food is very simple. You pick a meat and it will be served with rice and vegetables. Nothing real ethnic about it unless you venture into the sushi realm.

Alternatively, "hibachi-style" is a North American term for Japanese teppanyaki cooking, in which gas-heated hotplates are integrated into tables around which many people (often multiple parties) can sit and eat at once. The chef performs the cooking in front of the diners, typically with theatrical flair -- flipping shrimp tails into his hat, for example, or lighting a volcano of onions on fire with his fingers. The popular Japanese restaurant chain Benihana uses hibachi grill cooking as its trademark.

I'll bring Vegas 2...BadMoon or Havyck bring your copy as Loki does not have it either.

Are any of you into sports games? I can bring my copy of Madden 08. Loki has it too so 4 could play. I have NHL 08 as well ( just naming stuff Croft didn't mention ).

Is it one that you have to take your shoes off & kneel/ sit on a cushion at the side of the table/grill?
ahh you added a pic....so it's a standing & sitting in a chair place

I always pass on the veggies :lol

I love the filet and shrimp. I dip both in the mustard sauce. I am not really into the ginger sauce.

Croft - you can dress pretty much any way you want. No dress codes in most of them that I am aware of. I'll probably have a hockey jersey and shorts on if that gives you any idea.

Most places I have had Japanese don't do the whole formal take your shoes off. They used to in the 80's but most in my area and the Florida area don't. I say Florida because I vacation there a good bit.

probably learned that not everyone had the best foot hygiene & put customers off the food :lol
