You might consider holding onto him until the next Joe movie comes out and people become interested in those figures again. This is probably a down-time for Joe sales. I don't know how much he sold for, but Storm Shadow used to be, along with Snake Eyes (1985 version) and Firefly, among the most expensive, mass-released MOC figures that I noticed.

Another issue might be grading. Even if it is mint, many collectors won't actually believe it unless it is AFA graded. That can mean the difference between a $150-200 auction and a $600-700+ auction in some instances.

I think it's a sign, I have another one (unpunched card though) as well but I think I'm goin to keep it. Some reason the GI JOE gods do not want Storm Shadow to leave my hands.

I have not done it myself, but here are the costs:

Scroll down to "Standard Grading Scale"

Just check the differences in prices on eBay when things get graded by AFA. If your figure is in genuinely good condition, it would be worth the investment. When people sell old, ungraded Joes, some buyers will assume that it is because the card is not in good enough condition to get a high AFA graded score.

--edit: also, I will sign any 2 of Doc's pics from that thread for the Storm Shadow, plus $30. Just saying. . .--

Cool thanks :rock

Yea I've seen the difference on the auctions...

I still take money orders, you just can't SAY you do.

yeah i had a listing taken down because i had MOs listed as an option. always had it there but didn't know about changes that's been made. hate how Paypal (owned by ebay) has a monopoly. tho i think i've seen a couple other options lately that nobody's ever heard of lol. i'd rather get MOs (postal) now but see no way to state that in a listing.

Yeah. No offense Ski, but there are better ways of doing things. For example, when Doc gets me mad, I come after him with a tire iron.

I was after him the other day.... :lecture

A ton of people on eBay like to watch and not bid.

That's enter-taaaiiiin-ment :rotfl !

Although I don't get it -- If you watch, you should be interested. And if no one bids, you should be more compelled to place a bid!
It's like "Ooh, this is a cool piece. I'll get it if the price stays low..."
(A few days later)
"Oh, look! Still no bidders and it's ending in two minutes! Guess I'll have to pass. Bummer."
