Both really. The paint is the same on the closed mandible version but I fell in love with him.
Savage just didn't do it for me personally.

It could be that I've been spoiled by looking at the HT Elder photos, but this guy's finish looks really... obvious. Like it's clear that it's a piece of polystone that's been painted. Doesn't look like skin, looks like an average airbrush job -- and that's on the prototype. Not that the other busts were hyper-realistic, but they looked a lot better than this.

Have to admit the sole photo so far doesn't impress me much (copyright Shania Twain) - but it is just ONE photo - so the colours could be way off.

Something about those eyes is bugging me too - just doesn't have the instant appeal of Ray Villafane's work on the head of the 1/5 Elder.

This is pretty much the case with everything Sideshow puts out. Can't remember anything of theirs that looked realistic, and none of their busts in this line look like real skin either.

Personally, I was very excited to wake up to this news. I initially had no plans to get anything Predator other than from the original film, but the thought of having a shelf lined up with Predator and Alien busts makes me drool. Now if they can make a Wolf Predator I'd be set. Not sure I'd want anything else (will also probably track down the original P1 bust and P2 if I can find them for reasonable prices). This looks pretty good in the pic shown so far, got no issues with it, surprised more people don't like it as much to be honest. I will reserve full judgement until I see proper pics of it though. I'll admit, it does seem to have a bit of a fake look in that pic, but its most likely just the photo. The piece doesn't actually look real, looks almost like a concept drawing in Photoshop.

Based on sculpt alone, the P2 LSB is easily the most accurate so far.

I'd say the P1 is the least accurate. Head was way too large and elongated.

As far as paint goes...I was disappointed in both, but the P2's paint was just atrocious.

The dodgy colouration on this must be down to the choice of photo - we'll know for sure when other shots show up.

Yes. Finally the Elder LSB. I think it looks awesome. Wonder if the EX will have something different than a nameplate, because a Predator 2 nameplate wouldn't really go with Elder IMO. If it is a nameplate it will probably say "Elder Predator". I will definitely be getting this.
