Just beat MW3 today, and for some reason I can't connect online, so I'm eagerly awaiting the mailman to bring me Skyrim. Can't wait!

MAN ! all you comments are making me want this game right now.

do they both look on consoles?

wich one looks the best. your votes will count ps3 or 360 ?

help me decide. I hope for 360 because its being sitting there since gear 3 campain. it needs a good workout.

let me know guys.

Yea, I stumbled across a giant and he killed me with one hit.

Yeah same here, saw one and he looked friendly just looking at me so l walked up to him and he slammed me once and sent me like 100 feet in the air. Of course that was after walking half an hour to that point without saving.

Cant you make a decision on your own. I'm sure each console looks pretty much the same. For m 360 l have't noticed any graphic problems or aything, it looks really good.

I watched a giant and a dragon battle it out and the giant won.

Those dragons are a pain in the ass. The first dragon you kill as part of quest was easy, l killed him without even being hit once l had lots of help from the other fighters, but the first random incounter l got my ass kicked. I was caught in an open field and had no cover, so l just ran away after dying several times, his fire breath would kill me fast. I think the difficulty was on too high now that l think of it, haven't played yet since.

In one of the earlier games review show on you tube with a woman host she said that dragons will chase you and won back off and go away. Guess it's true women don't no what they are talking about when i comes to video games.:lol

If you stumble upon a troll at night....GET YOUR ASS OUTTA THERE :lol They don't die for some reason. They regrow their health, must of gone with "The Hobbit" design eh?

Did they do away with the grab feature? :(

On the 360 you get the object in your cross hairs and just hold down the 'A' button. But make sure you hold it down or you may take the item instead of jus picking it up.

I killed two troll on the way up the 7000 steps, a Regular Troll and a Snow Troll, but I had my follower Lidia with me and used Duo Flames to start along with Unrelenting Force Shout. Of course I died the first time I fought the Snow Troll as I was equipped with a Battle Axe of Cold, lol.

I thought they were hard too, until I learned Firebolt. Now I actually think their fun to fight.

Wisp mothers and the Draugr Scourges on the other hand kick my ass.

And Kvenel of the "Silenced Tongues" quest . . . how in the world do you defeat him?? Firebolt does a millimeter of damage and an Eleven War Axe (best non enchanted weapon I have at the moment at damage: 21) does nothing to him.

Awesome thanks!

I had Lydia too . . . until a dragon ate her. :(

:lol Saw a couple giants today, went to go say wassup like in the walkthroughs. But nope, he kicked my ass when I walked over :lol

So what are you guys playing as?
I've always played as a woodelf. No different this time around. And I always focus the most on my archery.

Here's my guy:

Usually I role with a hod on though.

That's a cool looking Wood Elf! I like the look of him. The hood is great too. I am going with a Red guard male. I'll follow the "good guy" path like I did with Oblivion. I hope to have a combination of use of magic and weapons. I'm still working on being good with magic. I wasn't that great with it in Oblivion. Oh yeah, my Red guard guy's name is...

Thor Hammersfall. Yeah, it's obvious, and I didn't choose a Nord blonde hair guy. I guess that would've been perfect for a guy named Thor! :wink1:

What's your Wood Elf's name ZaCHw117? What's your character's name toylion?

Thanks :D In Oblivion I named my guy Elrond (like the elvish king in the LOTR books/movies). So, I named him that again.

Thor huh? Pretty bad-ass. Do you have him in a cape and with a hammer? :lol

As far as good or bad guy paths go, I'm about in-between. More good though. I'm glad they didn't use a karma system though, in Fallout it always seemed like you were trying to be jesus or hitler :lol
I stay completely away from magic. The only one's I use are the shouts (which are really cool so far).

I can't wait to find the brotherhood though!

Nope. No hammer or blonde hair. :dunno Maybe I should make him a blonde headed Norse man and justify calling him Thor.

But to me right now, it's okay that he's not. I'll try to take a picture and post it here for you soon. To me he looks a little like a more "buffed out" young Mel Gibson Mad Max type of guy. I'm not that far into the game. But I really don't feel like starting over.

The magic looks cool, and does some real damage. While I'm more of a hack and slash guy, I wouldn't mind being able to do some magic too.

That's cool that you named your character Elrond. I think if I created a Wood Elf, I'd likely name him Legolas! :)

I joined the Brotherhood in Oblivion. So yeah, I think if I found them in Skyrim, I'd join up again with my new character.

I'm desperately trying to get into this game because i'm trying to play more types of games (i'm not a fps all the time player), but its not holding my attention. This and Mass Effect 2 did the same thing to me. I hate myself:thwak
