I have the patterns for the long "tank top", "poncho", pants, "boot wraps", (marked up - adjusted). Is all baggy (almost too much) to convey a big alien body.

Here is a pic of how the tan dye effort didn't work. It look several cycles, but I finally was able to remove the color with the Dye Rite remover. I'll probably use coffee again for future projects.

It is great to finish and work on another group.

Nice Klaatu skiff guard helmet. I added twine/yarn to my Klaatu helmets too, it really adds some nice detail to Duane's awesome work.

Well done so far, cant wait to see more pics!!

I've been trying to learn from the master customizers and work on the skiff guard continues. That reminds me, mmm I think I need some Nikto heads.

I did finish another Duros. I like Enaud's creations so much.

I think I read elsewhere that it's a rigid vinyl (or resin?) body from an Escape from the Planet of the Apes model kit.

yes, that is a 1/6 scale resin kit from Model Prisoners (still available I think).

I took a quick picture to show the Hot Toys Space Adam (slightly modified) with my Duros and Ape-o-nauts for comparison. I love space suits for some reason.

Here is a photo in the dark so you can't see all my mistakes.

I'll plan to post more pictures of my recent skiff guard as long it is ok to do so.

Duane, Thanks again for making these custom creations possible.

I gave it my best on the skiff guard. As always, I study the customizing masters' work. I tried the Tusken Raider undies, but wanted to try something different. (I wanted the sleeves to be longer.) I'm never 100% happy with my efforts.

Fantastic work there Darkness ! Everything from the outfit to weapons is top class . My attention in the new year will be these skiff guards/cantina aliens so I've been checking out how the rest of you guys have handled them and in my opinion I've my work cut out for me ! That headsculpt is DEFINATELY on my shopping list ( and I'm using YOUR weapons as my main reference source . Well done .
