I'm like man sign my ass up for it and Dave Myatt said he felt the same.

LOL. Are you wanting them to sign your ass or make a scan of your ass to put on a figure?

I can see it now, "Click here to buy this exclusive Rebel soldier featuring JLCMSU's ass!"

:lol

I dont think his face looks too chubby, check out the picture of Brant that is on SS website. The only thing that is a little over done is the beard. I dont even think the trooper looks all that close to Brant anyway except in the eyes. Overall though I think he will make a great figure and at least he comes with a ton of cool stuff.

BTW the wait list for the bundle is up.

thanks for the comparison, but I shoulda been more clear. BRANT is too chubby. And I don't say that as in disrespect to Brant, and it's totally awesome for him to be made into a toy. But I woulda preferred a slimmer soldier. Just my own opinion.

Star Wars fans would kill to have thier face on a SW figure.

And thats why they do nothing but cry, its not them so all they can do is lash out like small children.

The bundles certainly sold out faster than I expected, and if they don't make an overwhelming number of them then they might ultimately become highly sought after--when the Scout Troopers and Endor Poncho Luke and Leia and the 1/6 scale speeder bike and Ewok creature pack get made over the next few years, you're going to need these guys.
And don't forget those who want to make their Nik Sant Stormtrooper custom. :lol

I saw these same pix at an Endor Rebel site and just noticed something: all the Endor soldiers have their pants pockets below their knees -- like the ones in the picture above. I can't find any that have pockets on their hips...like "Hoodie" and the Brant figures offered. In fact, only Nik Sant has the correct pants. The Infantry soldier figure's pants are not accurate. Just another reason to get Nik Sant I guess.

I wonder if SS will ever offer "accessory packs" of additonal weapons and clothing so you can alter your figures? That would be cool. I'd be more likely to buy a 'bundle' if I knew I could customize them with some 'gear packs'.

Actually, none of the three offered are totally "correct" as far as what troopers are in the film, but the looks of each uniform does catch the 'essence" of the look...and with key elements like the distinctive helmet and the unique camoflage, all three looks Sideshow is offering "work". Another interesting aspect for customizers (albiet a very EXPENSIVE one) is getting multiples of these guys,,,mix n'matching the different elements of their uniforms and accessories, throwin' 'em on a "generic" military body and bam!...the possibilities are endless (well, alot anyway). Now granted, I agree with Wor-Gar...I'd prefer to see some sort of themed "accessory packs" availible in the future in order to "enhance" the various military figures...but I'd be surprised if that happens...why offer the sets if you can offer a whole new figure with different accessories and uniform components and keep rehashing the same figure (oops...sorry...had a Hasbro moment there:eek: ...it's Sideshow we're dealing with right? And they wouldn't do that, would they? :banghead ).
As for the whole "Brant" thing...I couldn't care less. More power to 'em...my only comment on it is I wish they had offered a black soldier as one of the three for some true variety. It wasn't just a bunch of well-fed white guys among the Endor troops...ah, well...maybe for a later release....

I think that the black soldier would have been a nice option. Maybe we will get him one of these days, so they aren't all white guys. We won't get ethnic diversity with the Imperial military figures, so it's up to the rebels. Maybe Captain Panaka or some of the Naboo Royal Security force characters will bring some color into the line. (I think they also had a female Naboo pilot, right? And there was a female officer working in Echo Base on Hoth. So there's hope for Dusty after all...)

You know, the more I look at these Comandos the more I like them. People are going to be kicking themselves when we get lots of Imperial troops and they have nobody to fight/slaughter. I just have a feeling these could end up as much of a holy grail as Jabba because so many people will be passing on both due to their prices/size. Only time will tell I guess.

I wonder if there is any chance we could get some helmet-less pics of Brant and Nik when they go up in addition to their current pics?

Can we all agree upon a name for the third soldier? We have Brant and Nik and then soldier number three, doomed to anonymity. Let's come up with a good name for him.

We could always go with the simple, "Joe" since everyone wants to call these GI Joes. This could actually be a good contest for Sideshow! The winner gets a free bundle :D

Or how about George, after Mr. Lucas?

How about Josh? :lol

:lol Lets try and figure out who he looks similar too. The only thing I can think of is Mat Falls, but I saw Mat at SDCC and I know that it doesn't look very much like him, but he's the best thing I can come up with right now.

How about Rodne? Its Endor backwards.

Backwards naming is very common in the SW universe, so I definitely like the sound of Rodne. That gets my vote!!!

How about Rodne Leber? (Pronounced: Rod-Knee Lee-burr) Thats Endor Rebel backwards. I like Rodne too. Backward names like Cin Drallig (Nic Gillard, the PT fight cordinator who was a Jedi in a RotS Hologram) seem very good choices.
